Great place to experience the Old City! + Location and history of the property. − Some staff at reception were not as customer service oriented as I would expect from a five star hotel. There was an issue with our dinner reservation and no advance communication which created a less than memorable experience.

Very average - way overpriced + Certainly not a 5 star and service is very hit or miss, but location is good. Ac’s didn’t really work in 2 of 3 rooms, some staff were rude / inexperienced others were fine. Breakfast quality was good. Showers poor. Bathroom amenities poor

5 STAR Prices, 1 STAR Experience. + I have been attempting to resolve a billing dispute for over 2 months. Despite clearly acknowledging the problem, not a single person I have spoken to or e-mailed has addressed the issue. I have received profuse apologies, and have been told someone will address my concerns to no avail.

Would never recommend the hotel + Location, except when I had to carry 2 suitcases of 25kg each and when I arrived at the hotel the lady behind the counter just laughed , rather than help. − Hot , Aircon would not go below 25 degrees. Breakfast is a disaster, greasy and not what described on the menu.

DO NOT STAY AT PUCIC PALACE (Dubrovnik) + You walk into a steamy hot tiny reception area where the one person does triple duty as reception, concierge and maintenance. The staff is sweating because they work with no A/C. The rooms smeled musty and my room was not as clean as you'd expect a motel room to be. A/C was not unfiotnal.hey advertised room service and then I called to ask the hours the person at the desk was susprised they had room service and she didn't know. I asked her to check and she said OK - never got back with me. They booked me on a boat trip, gave the taxi the wrong directions, and the blamed it on the taci. I jad to I had to ask for the general manager. They said she was not there and they refused to give me aidrect contact for her, saying I should send my concerns to their reservation desk who would it. I've sent two emails and they havew ignored them both, What a joke this is listed as 5-stars. I will contact the Croatian Government Tourism to adv…

Never again and please stay somewhere else. + Location − The views (was none) , breakfast is a total sham, how on earth this hotel is 5 star is beyond me. Having travelled 49 countries in the last 3 years to class this as 5 star is dishonest. The team here are about as useful as a chocolate teapot and to be honest just rude.

The worst. + The absolute worst hotel experience we have had in all of Europe. Check in was in a super uncomfortable hot sweaty room with someone who had no idea what they were doing. After taking our passports she hands them back and says “you’re all set”. I said, “can we have a key?” The rooms smelled musty. It was very dark. They promise a noise proof rooms which was an absolute joke because the window did not even close. Which was another issue given that it was over 90 the entire stay. The advertised air conditioning is a portable unit that could not keep up and never cooled the room. The bathrooms have no windows, no fans and get extremely hot. The water pressure to too high for the shower pan and floods the entire bathroom floor. The black out shades, also advertised, do not close due to the portable a/c unit piping rigged to stick out of the window. “Housekeeping” , also advertised, included someone coming in to make our bed. Woukd stay again for location. + The location is awesome! − Nobody ever brought towels or pillows and we called twice. The girl made us a reservation and we got there and no reservation. The guy was great!

Amazing place, wonderful location, wonderful staff! + Wonderful room for the most part. Loved the atmosphere created. − Leaky ceiling. We did visit during a heatwave but our ac was insufficient in two of our three rooms.
