Let down. + The location. − It was dated and warn. I would not consider this hotel or stay 5 stars. We paid for a prestige double room, which was large for Europe, but the room was placed in the back of the hotel off a separate stair case. The view was non-existent. I did ask to move rooms, but the hotel could not accommodate the change for the first night. The restaurant was sleepy and the service was extremely slow. The hotel was apparently renovated/enhanced in 2023, but it didnt’ show. Every chair and sofa cushion in our room and in the common areas was stained or showed significant wear. There was a false ceiling in one of the two bathrooms in our room and it had a hole where you could see above. The morning room service was the only positive.

Easy access, exceptional accommodations, and awesome services + We have stayed in many of the five star hotels here in Paris, but easy to say that this is our favorite. What we love about it most is the location is out of the main street area and has access to all of our most favorite spots. The staff has been very welcoming and professional. The accommodations are top-tier all the way around. Did I mention the breakfast? Wow! We had a late lunch our arrival which was delicious and they have a nice assortment of wines and all reasonably priced. Drinks in the bar before dinner out last night from their well stocked bar. The public areas are all very nicely appointed with a slight mix of some modern, but mostly classic. This is our new home in Paris for sure.!

A family owned Hotel + At first, when I saw the name "San Regis", I though It was one of the famous luxurious chain hotels run by Marriott. But, this hotel was absolutely not. It was an independent hotel run by a family. This hotel had a very intimate atmosphere and felt like living in Paris. Also, staff were very helpful.

Wonderful boutique hotel! + I stayed at the San Regis on a recent trip to Paris with my pre-teen son. It was his first visit to the city, so the hotel's proximity to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and other major attractions was the reason I chose to book here - but the warmth of the staff, the beauty of the building and comfort of the room will be the reasons we return! Our room was extremely spacious and beautifully appointed with a phenomenal view (highly recommend a terrace suite if possible). I'll never forget the experience of watching the Eiffel Tower light show from the terrace with my kid! Fully functional in-room AC unit kept the room very cool when needed. Everyone we encountered, from check-in, to the restaurant, to housekeeping was thoughtful and charming. Bravo to the owners whose father I'm certain is very proud of the way they've continued the family business.

Se não for suite não vale a estadia. + A localização é ótima. Área comum agradável. − Não tinha elevador para chegar ao quarto, isto não é informado no momento da reserva, a escada é super estreita para acessar o quarto. Os quartos “básicos” são ruins, para ser razoável tem que ser a partir da 3a categoria. Varias opções melhores nesta região.
