Relaxing Family Getaway with Excellent Food and Service + Our stay at The Ocean Club was truly exceptional from start to finish. We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful beach, warm sunshine, and relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire trip. The resort itself is very inviting, with well-kept grounds and a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The food and drinks were excellent—each meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the beverage options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were equally impressive. What made the experience even better was the overall service and hospitality. The staff made us feel welcome and taken care of, which added to an already memorable vacation. We had a fantastic trip and would absolutely return. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

A Luxurious and Relaxing Trip + I truly cannot say enough amazing things about my stay at The Ocean Club Resort in Sosúa for my 30th birthday—it was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. Every morning felt like a dream. We started our days slowly, enjoying the most delicious fresh Caribbean fruit and warm, freshly baked pastries in the most peaceful, relaxing setting overlooking the mountains across the island. It was the kind of place that forces you to slow down and actually enjoy every moment. The highlight of the trip was hands down my private birthday dinner on the beach. Amazing Property + The property is beautiful and the location is perfect. We had a big, clean, very well appointed two bedroom suite. Floor to ceiling windows (two stories) were amazing. The pools, the beach, spa (I had a fantastic massage), restaurants / bars and all public spaces were immaculate and well maintained. Above all, the service was extraordinary. A great stay.

Beauty and Perfection in every aspect + Unbelievably perfect. We felt like royalty the moment we were picked up from the airport. The staff is so friendly and ready to help with anything. Even arranging a driver for us to go to Puerto Plata to do our own touring. The views and calm atmosphere are exactly what we were looking for. Security is a top priority here. You feel very comfortable. The restaurants on site are delicious with gorgeous views. There is no need to leave. Immaculately clean room. We stayed in the 2 bedroom “duplex” and it defines upper level beachfront Caribbean. We will be returning, over and over again. Big thank you to Enna and Augustina for making this stay perfect.

An unforgettable start to our honeymoon! + We stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon, and it absolutely set the bar high. The amenities are fantastic—we spent plenty of evenings relaxing in the hot tub with fireplace—but the location is also perfect. It feels like a private oasis, yet it’s incredibly convenient to Cabarete and plenty of fantastic local restaurants. We much prefer this over an all inclusive resort, because we were able to get out and explore each day but come back to a luxury place each evening. One of our favorite touches was the dedicated WhatsApp group with the concierge and front desk. It made communicating with the team so incredibly easy at all hours, and they were always quick to help. The breakfast was amazing and fresh every single day (we loved Yohanny) with amazing options, including their take on the local Dominican classic tres golpes. Great trip! We like it a lot. + It was a spontaneous decision because our original plans have been canceled. But it became one of our most relaxed holidays. The staffs are friendly, specially all the reception team. We received very welcome checkin( with a surprise treatment because of our anniversary) and farewell at checkout. The room was nice because we had a standing view of the ocean. The F&B was good. The price of the house wine I think it can be reconsidered. For breakfast, we had fixed continental breakfast included everyday. I think you can give guests an allowance( exp:18$/day) then they can order different types of breakfast.( guests needs to pay the differences if it is over 18$.) The swimming pools and the beach were perfect with blue sky touched with clouds and white fine sand. The ombré sea stretches to the horizon. How beautiful was it? I can not stop taking pics. You have to come and discover yourself.

Good for relaxing but keep in mind the details + Sights were beautifull and was a relaxing place. Food was very good. − Property is beat up and in my opinion, does not represent marriot standart for "luxury". There is a lack of detail managments to be called luxury experience. Sea water pool and the jacuzzi weren't clean with moldy on the teals and flooting around.

An incredible property with beautiful rooms and amazing value (even during high season). + This place was absolutely amazing. We came during the off season, so prices were lower, but even at the normal rate I would absolutely say it is worth it. The room was huge and felt more like an apartment, with a full kitchen, refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, two coffee machines, and basically everything you could need. You could literally cook a whole turkey if you wanted to. The bed was extremely comfortable, the AC worked flawlessly, and they have their own generators, so electricity is never something you have to worry about. Service was excellent almost across the board. They create a WhatsApp group for your stay, so you can simply message the team whenever you need anything and they handle it.
