La femme de ménage qui nettoyait ma chambre était d'une grande gentillesse. − Aucune chaîne française dans leur application ou forfait télé. La salle de bain ( le mécanisme de la douche est usé. La baignoire problème d'évacuation d'eau.)

Perfect vacation + Perfectly located right on "malecón " and only minutes from Colonial zone. Rooms and all hotel area very clean. Large pool and gym.

Best place to stay in Santo Domingo + This is a beautiful and clean place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. From the moment I walked in the bellmen, the front desk clerk and Nelsy( the reward conceirge) made me feel truly welcomed. I travel extensively but the treatment that you get from the lounge on the 10th floor is exceptional. Ana Santos is so very nice, friendly and accommodating. She is very attentive to the customers needs. It is great to see her and Nelson every time I visit. I truly recommend the Sheraton.

Great experience! Friendly staff! + Great location. Everything you need is close by. The bar and restaurant staff were great and friendly. During my stay over few days. Roman, Maximiliano, Juan, Esmeralda and Angelo were very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful time at the Sheraton RD. + The experience was excellent and the people were very helpful and friendly especially Anita Santos and Nelson at the lounge on the 10th floor.

Beware inflated reviews + I booked Sheraton Santo Domingo because of it's high rating and reviews on Tripadvisor. But after arriving, I really began to question why the reviews were so positive as it didn't match my experience. The room had a 'stuffy' smell, the bathroom was small and had a bathtub which you couldn't get in unless you closes the bathroom door. On my third night, I had dinner at the hotel restaurant and one of the servers presented me with a small Tripadvisor card with a QR code and asked me to write a review. He stayed over my shoulder to ensure I did it there and then, asking me to title the review "Excellent service" and give 5 stars. I immediately realised this was what they were doing to guests to give the online impression of a great hotel. In reality, I would rate the hotel 3/5. It has a dated feel to it, like from the 90s, and it could do with a refresh.
