Comfortable stay for a couple of days + It was a well laid out resort facility with expansive breakfast buffet several restaurants On Site, Spa, gym, and accessible beach that you could walk on a swim. Rooms had good views and comfortable beds and staff were very nice. The nightly performance on the beach was nice as was having music in the lounge area. Beautiful sunsets nightly from the property. − I would’ve expected a Shangrila resort like this to be better maintained and a little bit more updated. The food was really mediocre and not as tasty as I have had at other major resorts with buffet style service. The check in process took 30 minutes - really too slow. The sunrise hike Trail sounds great, but you can encounter monkeys and possibly snakes on. It was what one of the staff told me. I think that’ll be important for guests to know before they sign up for that activity.

Nice hotel but expensive food/drink! + Staff were friendly, and beautiful view over the beach and sea. The breakfast was good although busy! Good you get free insect repellent around the hotel. − The breakfast was really busy, although the food was good. The evening food was not very good at all and very expensive. The pool was very busy and loud with games being played over loud speakers. Felt like we were in a giants kids club which wasn’t very great for our honeymoon!

Expensive stay in an excellent hotel + Excellent buffet breakfast, possibly the best pain au chocolat in any hotels I've been to. Really tasty. Good pool. The staff are excellent, really polite and will try and accommodate your needs. − I came with family and it is a pricey hotel. There were 2x 12 year olds and they were counted as adults.

+ Sehr entspannend und genau das richtige nach Singapur und vor ein paar Tagen Sandakan und Dschungel. Für uns 4 als Familie genau die Entspannung die wir brauchten − Die Pools waren nicht wirklich eine Erfrischung da das Wasser sehr warm ist. Wer nach Kota Kinabalu mal will: das ist schon ein Stück. Für 4 Personen etwas kleine Betten.
