Relaxing and enjoyable + The location is beautiful and relaxing. Food lovely − Unfortunately choices at dinner limited due to the hotel being very busy and some dishes had sold out. Obviously this was an exceptional circumstance

Beautiful village, nice pub but cottage is disappointing + Great location, beautiful village, attractive externally, well equipped − The furniture and decorations are tired and shabby. Only one decent sized cup in the kitchen. It needs some money spending on it - repainting, new carpets etc

I highly recommend this place. It is very comfortable and a beautiful facility. + This was like having a private little house with the dining facility directly across the alley. There was plenty of room for our large party. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. − It is a little far from the two local Villages, but we had a lovely walk through a beautiful field and could catch a bus.

As usual....superb! + We stay at the Stag and Huntsman to break our journey from Exmoor to my daughters in Cambridge. Hambledon is the most beautiful Chiltern village and the accommodation is superb. − Our room, "black bush",whilst being comfortable was not as special as previous rooms we have stayed in.
