Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bedroom and en-suite was spotlessly lean + Bedroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. − I suspect it was partly due to it being the end of season and a lot of places are feeling the "pinch" s to speak, but the place looked tired in places and could do with a bit of a make over

Shall definitely be back + Very friendly staff, Rachael on reception then later in the bar and the lovely girl cheery girl who served us brekkie are a credit to the hotel.Breakfast was plentiful, super choice and tasty. The location was perfect as situated so close to the sea front. The rear garden was lovely to sit out in and enjoy a preprandial with the local squirrel and lovely Daisy! − The bath towel was a tad on the small side.

Pleasant stay, parking tricky. + Nice location near the sea front. Excellent breakfast, beautifully cooked. − Hard to park. Not sure what time you have to get there to use one of the 10 or so hotel spaces. Nowhere on road so parked on double yellows to check in then wandered around until one became available in street in front of hotel. Room small but comfortable, would have been nice to have a small bottle of shampoo / shower gel.

Marines family corps weekend + Fantastic views of the sea from window. Friendly staff at bar and in breakfast room. Happy hour was a bonus. − Shower was unpredictable and bed was small. Room was expensive for the size.

Great if you want a fry up my partner loved the fried bread! + Location Staff Cleanliness − The breakfast choice wasn’t great. The cooked breakfast was good but the choice for continental was limited. More fruit and yoghurt choices. Some Greek plain yoghurt melon blueberries etc

Overall an enjoyable stay and good value for money. + Location of hotel was good . Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. − Rooms were a bit tired looking but it is an old building .

A resonably good hotel for the price range. + Overall it was quite good for the price range. It was a quite low cost hotel so taking that into consideration it was all the we expected and needed. It wasn't missing anything you would expect. Breakfast was not best quality but you won't get best in that price range. It was fine though. We had only booked bed and breakfast for two nights as we were travelling and it was absolutely fine for that. − Parking is a bit awkward in the area although the hotel does have sone limited free parking right in front, just not enough. There is other free parking in the area but you might need to walk up to a couple of hundred yards if you are not lucky.
