Good place located right at the Kabira Bay + Everything is good except for the loud running on wood board early at 6am one day. Must be some kids staying at the Jouya.

A nice small family operating hotel. + Very friendly staffs they always willing to help in every aspect. Room is small, this is normal in Japan, but excepationally clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet town with some small restaurants and shops nearby.

Cozy Japanese room near Kabira Bay + We had an amazing time at Jouya. We stayed in a cozy Japanese style room and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accomodating and helped with any of our requests including helping deliver a pair of shoes I forgot when we checked out. There is an amazing snorkeling beach nearby (Yonehara) and a delicious bakery and okonomiyaki restaurant within walking distance. I'm so glad we chose to stay at Jouya!

満足でした。 + 少し古めかしいホテルですが、とても清潔感があって、フロントの方の対応もとても親切です。 また川平湾付近の観光地やお店へのアクセスも良いです。 部屋着はないので持参必須ですね。

+ 久しぶりの宿泊でした。川平での常宿です。コロナ禍の最中に客室をリニューアルされていて、畳も琉球畳風でイグサのにおいかして良かった。 室内も綺麗でした。 ただ一つ気になったのが、以前 室内にあったタオル干し用のラックが無かったので不便でした。 その他はほぼ満足でした。

Calm and comfortable! + We stayed 5 nights at Jouya and we loved it! Everything was clean and calm we could really relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of ISHIGAKI. There are also several diving centers around the hotel and during the night we could see stars on night sky on the rooftop. Definitely recommend for people that want an authentic island experience.

+ I rented the Japanese room. It was really comfortable and we'll equipped (chair, desk beside futon). AC obviously available. Other commodities are available in the building and it's easy to park if you rent a car as I did.
