A wonderful and authentic Japanese stay in the heart of Kyoto. + The house was beautiful and very traditional, offering an authentic Japanese experience. The location was peaceful and close to Gion, with easy access to restaurants and attractions. 今の京都を知れる + 川のせせらぎを聞きながら宿泊できたこと。近くに良いお店が多く、散歩に適しています。遠方からの宿泊で駐車場の件などでスタッフさんがしっかりと対応をしてくださり、とても安心できました。 − 宿入り口前は車通りが多く、荒い運転をされる車が多かったのでその音が気になり、空間でゆっくりできたようでも音が気になり、こんなに素敵なお宿ですのにしっかりと満喫ができなかったのが残念です。あとはお風呂のお湯がなかなかたまらず、また立派な石作りの風呂桶で素敵なのですが、割と早くに湯の温度が下がるのでお風呂好きの当方にとってはこちらはマイナスな部分でした。全ての座布団にシミがついてるのもきになりました。

和を感じる宿泊 + 景色が綺麗、部屋の掃除が行き届いていた！ コーヒーマシーンがあった！ − お風呂のお湯が溜まるのに時間がかかる！ 2泊だったので、追加でタオルなどが欲しかった！ パジャマやテレビ（プロジェクター）などがあると、宿でものんびり過ごせると感じた！

I would come back to stay with our family again if we visited Kyoto - beautiful and calming! + The location was amazing, the property beautiful and comfortable for our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 younger adults in their 20s). We were able to explore Kyoto during the day and come back to a tranquil part of Kyoto at night, though not far from where we wanted to visit. − The stairs to the upper level where we all slept meant going up and down very steep stairs multiple times. The stairs do not have any handrails which is in keeping with the architecture of the home. However, I was constantly concerned that one of us was going to take a tumble.

Lovely and peaceful near Gion District. + The main room, doubled as a bedroom, opened up the full width of the balcony and overlooked the tree lined canal. It was lovely and peaceful. It is difficult to compare a more traditional Japanese place like this with normal hotel accommodation. It had a lovely, modern bathroom, including a washing machine. Located a short walk to the Gion district. − Kitchen was extremely small, so only used it for the kettle. No other facilities other than the bathroom and washing machine.

Calm, traditional stay + Beautiful traditional Ryokan in front of the river. Very calm area. They bring a Japanese breakfast in the morning. Perfect if you want to have a more local experience.

京都という観光名所、外国人の日本バイアスで価値を見出されている宿泊施設だなという印象。 + ロケーションと室内空間においては、おそらく限られた予算の中でリノベされた職人さんの腕が良かった。 − ・本アプリの問題かはわからないが、宿泊可能時間は私では見つけにくい場所にあり、その他(地図アプリ)の情報とも相違があり旅行計画を調整する必要があった。 運営側に伝え済み。地図アプリの情報は運営側でその場で書き換えできると思うが、2日後の未だ修正されていない。 ・風呂場外面の隣地2階に窓があり、プライバシーが担保されているのかわからなく使い辛かった。

A Pleasant Traditional Japanese Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement + The location was very convenient, and we really liked the traditional style of the building. The second-floor tatami room was especially nice, with a traditional Japanese atmosphere and a comfortable space to relax. The bathroom was functional. Overall, these were some of the best aspects of our stay and gave us a nice experience of staying in a traditional Japanese-style accommodation. − There was quite a lot of dust, especially in the tatami room. There was also an unpleasant smell at the entrance on the first floor, apparently coming from garbage bags stored in the metal box next to the entrance door, possibly left by previous guests. The kitchen area was very narrow, with limited space for preparing coffee or other drinks.
