Basic but clean and functional. + Nice welcome at reception, spacious room, and all as expected for the money we paid for a one night stopover. Not luxury but a functional option. Furnishings tired and shabby but the room and the bedding were clean. Help yourself cereal, toast and drinks in the morning were available. This is a transit accommodation and not a destination location for a longer stay.

It was a bed for the night + Cheap and central to our location of interests − Breakfast was continental toast and cereal not what I call a continental breakfast cereal was not fresh coffee was not good staff never spoke room was basic looks closed down from outside reminds me of a place where you go if your wife kicks you out for the night won’t be going back

+ Room was a little tired and could go with some simple DIY. Clean and spacious. Good value for money.

+ The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus.

+ Bathroom was shabby and no hot water could be found in the sink but the room was clean and mattress comfortable. The blind in the room was broken so more light came in than was kept out but didnt bother me much. Staff was friendly and accomodating however the place stunk of weed but it isnt 5 star so downsides expeted

+ The breakfast was horrible, just a cornflakes. Dirty surface and cutlerys. Bad smell everywhere. Mouldy bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room size was good.
