1 keer. En daarna nooooit meer. + Locatie − Kleine kamers zonder airco of koeling. Slecht geïsoleerd als je voor 0330 wil slapen niet hier boeken. Veel geluids overlast. Hele stijle trappen geen lift. Kamers slecht schoongemaakt.

Two stars should really be one star... + The hotel is very centrally located; within walking distance of bars, restaurants, the town pedestrian areas and shops etc. The downside of the location (above a bar/ restaurant) is the noise that comes with it. The bar is open until 1.00 AM weekdays and 2.00 AM Friday and weekends, and that can be hard to sleep through. − The room was an airless hot box. No A/C (Holland doesn't do A/C), but also not even a fan to deal with the stifling heat. Made it impossible to sleep. Half the light fixtures in the room did not work, and only 1 of the 3 lights in the bathroom was functional. One hung from the ceiling by its wire. The shower fixture was becoming detached from the wall. Website gives opening hours from 7.30 AM but that's inaccurate. The restaurant downstairs doesn't open until 11.00 or noon, and for breakfast you're on your own (there's a bakery within walking distance I discovered, but no coffee anywhere until 9.00 at the earliest).

Goed, betaalbaar en functioneel hotel + aardig personeel, functioneel OK hotel − De kamers waren boven het uitgaanscentrum. Zaterdagnach ging de dreunenende discomuziek tot in de kleine uurtjes door

+ Het is een goed budget hotel puur voor overnachten. Verwacht geen luxe of voorzieningen. Maar voor een overnachting is het dik in orde. Midden in het uitgaanscentrum van Valkenswaard, dus op zaterdagavond hoor je de muziek tot 3u snachts. Wij hebben hier zelf ook gebruik van gemaakt, dus voor ons geen probleem.

Nicht zu empfehlen + Das Personal freundlich und die Gaststätte sauber und gemütlich − Das Zimmer war eine Zumutung, es gibt nichts positives dazu zu sagen. Nie wieder!! Offenen Steckdosen. Bei dem Doppelbett war die eine Seite 10cm von der Matratze höher! Der kleine Schrank drohte einzufallen. Als ich mein Aufladekabel aus der Steckdose ziehen wollte hatte ich die Steckdose gleich mit in der Hand usw.... 😡

Volgende keer slapen we ergens anders + De snelle check in − De kamer was niet schoon, de badkamer vies, het raam kapot, het doucheputje verstopt, de bedden liggen door, het beddengoed weerspiegelt de toestand van de kamer, het washandje van een vorige gast dat gebruikt en wel over de douchedeur hing, de bedenkelijke geur van het trappenhuis en de technoparty die tot diep in de nacht onder ons in het cafe plaatsvond….

Schande voor het hotelwezen en Booking. Nooit meer + Niets − Geen receptie op het moment van aankomst. Na telefonisch contact komt de buurman met wat info maar NA een half uur wachten. Er was niemand die je iets kon vragen. De kamer sleutel lag onder de welkomstmat bij de voordeur. Via een trap achterom kon iedereen vrij het hotel betreden zonder gezien te worden. Het enige wat fatsoenlijk was waren de matrassen.

Een eenvoudig en schoon onderkomen. + Ik kom maandelijks een nacht overnachten ivm familiebezoek. Een bescheiden plek, zonder ontbijt. Erg schoon, prima bed. Bedlampjes doen het al maanden niet (opmerkingen helpen niet) , de tv was gerepareerd!. − Bedlampjes
