Mejor cottage en Batur + La ubicación es muy buena, alejada de la carretera principal, un poco más elevada lo que aporta algo de brisa además de unas vistas al valle. El sendero que lleva al monte Batur comienza a unos 15 minutos caminando desde el Pondok Bali Cottage. Las Cabañas son graciosas y espaciosas. Cama balinés con mosquitera y baño extra grande con ducha caliente. Se puede utilizar la cocina para preparar algo. A comer. Tranquilo por la noche y también por el dia si uno quiere disfrutar del jardín. Los chicos que gestionan son muy amables y disponibles en ayudar. La relación calidad precio es correcta.

+ - Rooms were beautiful and the facility was clean. - It is good value for money. − - Staff were quite young and inexperienced, on their phones a lot and playing loud videos while we were eating breakfast. We had to ask them to lower their phone volumes. - Poor English. I understand it is a second language but at least some level of communication would be good for international guests. One staff member tried his best to hold a conversation (he was friendly and nice though), but it just wasn't really working. - From previous reviews we expected a warm welcome atmosphere. We think the reviews were about the owners. We asked the staff and the owners were away. - Pictures on booking.com are a little 'better' than reality, especially the pool. It's something and a minor detail but worth mentioning.

Très mitigé + La proximité du mont batur seul point positif. Le personnel fait son possible malgré beaucoup de points négatifs. − À mon avis établissements peu fréquenté en fin de vie, demande clairement rénovation. Pas propre, nettoyage vite fait au checking, pas de serviettes. Piscine sans eau ! Suite à demande, Serviettes fournies sales et humides !!!

Levé de soleil magique sur le volcan Batur et rencontre exceptionnelles avec la jeunesse balinaise. + Dès mon arrivée ALEK mon hôte m’a fait visiter cette jolie chambre avec la belle vue sur le volcan et proposé l’excursion pour laquelle je suis venue. L’ascension du volcan Batur avec de nombreux choix adaptés même pour les enfants. Départ 3h30. Nous étions 2 françaises avec notre guide Senny. Notre guide Senny est une toute jeune femme d’une attention extraordinaire très courageuse. Toute la montée de 700m de dénivelé elle m’a tendue la main, patienté pour mes nombreux arrêts et nous y sommes arrivées. Ça valait tous les efforts et ce levé de soleil était magique à 1717m. Conseil important prenez des affaires chaudes en haut il fait froid. Ma doudoune et mon polaire m’ont été bien réconfortants. Nous avions pris le parcours le plus raide et le plus long. La descente aussi a été raide et je suis tombée de ma hauteur et cassée le poignet. Dès que nous sommes arrivées aux véhicules ALEK…

Quelle déception ! Peu sérieux + Literie , oreiller, serviette, belle salle d’eau, vue − Piscine déplorable ! Sale non entretenue personne ne peut s’y baigner , aucune poubelle dans le bungalow, boite de mouchoirs vide, beaucoup de mouches , le warung moyen mais le service est extra long plus d’une heure d’attente pour 3 plats ( il n’ avait que nous) , il faisait froid en août donc une couverture aurait été de mise mais il n’y en avait pas . Coupure électricité donc plus d’eau chaude après la montée au volcan pour se réchauffer et se laver !

Nous sommes restés 10 min et nous avons changé d’hôtel − Attention l’hôtel est compliqué d’accès nous étions en moto donc tout c’est bien passé mais avec chauffeur je ne suis pas sûr qu’il vous emmène devant l’hôtel. En arrivant sur place à 17h une personne seulement parlait anglais et il n’est resté que 1 heure Nous avons récupéré la chambre et avons découvert une chambre et une salle de bain très sale. Notre chambre était au fond à gauche. Peut être que les autres sont dans un état différent. Il y a une piscine mais au vu de l’état je n’y aurais pas mis les pieds mais j’ai l’impression que dans ce coin elles sont toutes comme ça Après nous sommes sur un hôtel à 250 000 ce qui peut expliquer ça . Nous sommes donc parti dès notre arrivée pour réserver un autre hôtel. Merci Google traduction qui nous a simplement permis de dire à la personne à l’accueil que nous partions

+ The Pondok Bali Cottage is located north in the Kintamani Region and above the Danau Batur crater lake. It is a nice ensemble of little houses arranged around a beautiful garden with a small pool. The hut I got was with a high roof in shape of a gothic arc with wooden shingles on top. The room was of good size and had a huge comfortable bed with mosquito net in it. The bathroom had washing table, toilet and spacious shower in it. Water pressure and temperature were good. All clean and in good condition. Breakfast was served outside by the pool under a big roof. The team was very friendly and helpful. For seeing attractions like Mount Batur sunrise, black lava fields, temples, riding jeep or trekking tours this is a great base camp. Having a scooter or car will help you beeing mobile and independent. I stayed five days and was very happy with Pondok Bali Cottage. Highly recommended !
