Very nice hotel, 20 mins walk to Aix + Lovely gardens, excellent breakfast, most of the staff very nice. − No balcony in the room. Expensive. Barman in the outside bar uninterested and a little rude.

A haven of tranquility a stone’s throw from the centre of Aix. + Such a beautiful hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. It’s a real haven of tranquility yet only a 10 minute walk to La Rotonde. The gardens and swimming pool were fabulous, and the inside has been renovated with real class. All staff were helpful - our favourite was Thomas the barman, who was exceptional. There was always space around the pool and so many places to sit and relax. Breakfast was fabulous. So many different fresh fruits, homemade cakes and pastries.

Bel établissement. Très loin des 5 étoiles revendiquées et facturées + La situation à proximité immédiate du centre historique. Le parking. Le parc magnifique. Excellent petit déjeuner. − Les sommiers qui grincent. La climatisation bruyante. Les moutons dans la chambre. La propreté de la piscine de ce la villa (draps de bain qui traînent, paquets de chips et verres à l’abandon). Le personnel qui règle ses comptes devant les clients.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Aix + The property is absolutely lovely. Beautiful gardens and pool, as well as many places to enjoy inside the hotel. The breakfast every morning was delicious! − Some wait staff were particularly rude. We were seated on their outside terrace for dinner, and then completely ignored for 45 minutes. When we decided to leave after not having our order taken or any attention whatsoever, the hostess finally came over and asked if we wanted to order food. It’s too bad you pay so much to stay at a beautiful hotel only to have the experience stained with poor wait service. Everyone else was lovely.
