Over all it was good + Good − The shower head would not stay in position. The wc was poorly cleaned.

Very good location for a stopover with great value food. + good clean accommodation. excellent food at value for money prices. − it was easier to order on line than to find a member of staff. Not their fault, bar was busy and understaffed.

Not the place for peace and quiet + Comfy bed − You can hear EVERYTHING in the neighbouring room. Like, their conversation as if they were sat next to you. Means you can’t have work or confidential meetings and conversations in your own room and any children crying will keep you awake all night.

Good value stay + Clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, decent pub grub. Overall, good value. − Being woken up at 1.30am by a drunk hotel guest banging on my ground floor window f’ing and blinding to let him in. Needless to say, I ignored him and left the night porter to deal with him. In fairness, the hotel manager gave me a free breakfast the following morning, accompanied by a profound apology.

Comfy beds, good location and easy to grab dinner + Staff were helpful and polite, rooms were very clean and had everything needed. − Due to the restaurant being busy we were advised to find somewhere in the bar area, after getting our food the tv volume was turned up to max level for a football game and unfortunately we were by the speakers as well, so loud couldn’t even hear ourselves think let alone have an actual conversation. Understand football is on however there were probably 10 people there watching it so not sure why needed to be that loud and unable to turn down.

+ it was clean and not bad for the price. The breakfast was good plenty of choice. Easy to park and great to have a restaurant on site. − Bed a little hard and the bathroom was compact

We stayed here while traveling south. + The outside of the hotel is cute! − The bottom floor could have been better. The room was a bit musty and the soap dispenser was empty. Our family staying on the third floor had a a pleasant experience though!
