A peaceful high quality place to stay and eat + Secret peaceful location. Calm decor and very comfortable bedrooms. Great bathrooms and high standard of cleanliness.Locals come for the food which is imaginative and in a league above standard pub fare. − Loved it all really. Only comment is you choose a breakfast option from the menu as there is no buffet and you can't just have a slice of toast or fruit and yogurt if you aren't hungry.

+ Stayed in the Stark Suite which was spacious and clean. The breakfast was also delicious and the location lovely. I had a nice walk along the river after breakfast. − Nothing, will definitely stay again.

+ Was very homely feel an the security door at the front was great so we could come an go as front door was coded plenty of parking The room was really nice. An show pressure an heat was really good would definitely stay again − Only down fall with room it had only one mug so had ask for one so not really a complaint. Wife would of liked a bath but no biggie

Excellent place to stay + Excellent quiet location and easy to find. Very good nicely decorated rooms with comfortable bed and modern en-suite facilities. Restaurant provided tasty well prepared food. Breakfast was exceptional. Friendly helpfully staff. EV chargi g polite in car park. − Nothing

Lovely accommodation let down by a few oversights + Hotel lovely, beautiful quiet setting. Rooms really nice and clean. Good parking and a nice bar area indoor and outdoor − No new towels for the second night after I left mine on the floor for housekeeping. No new toilet rolls left in room. No milk for tea after my first night, no new bottle of water or shortbread left for second night either
