Dispite the problems we enjoyed our stay and hope to return again. + Breakfast was fine on the first day. The lady in charge arranged for me to have a bacon sandwich. Sadley on our last day when I asked for a bacon sandwich I was told by a different lady that I could not have a sandwich. Very disapointing. − 1) builders woke ys earley on our first morning erecting a scafolding outside the next room. 2) The loo flush never worked correctly, we had the water running all one night. I sorted it out the next morning.

Very relaxing, great food , brilliant service + It was very clean , staff couldn’t do enough for you , food was lovely & plenty of it . Location was good if you didn’t want to drive you could get the bus or the hop on hop off bus from across the road .

Non credo proprio + La vicinanza alla new Forest è la facilità di arrivarci − All’arrivo in camera, mentre mia moglie è già in doccia ci accorgiamo che non ci sono asciugamani, scendo nella hall per chiederne un paio e non ne hanno, la responsabile dei piani non c’è , risultato? Un asciugamani 40x 50 per potersi asciugare in 2 . La camera con finestra sulla strada per colpa del caldo abbiamo dovuto tenere la finestra aperta e quindi ogni passaggio di macchina era un rombo dentro la stanza. Peccato perché la struttura è carina ma il servizio annesso è la pulizia delle zone comuni lasciano a desiderare.

A really well run, pretty and altogether lovely place + EXCELLENT. BEST POACHED EGGS EVER On arrival, my daughter and I were shwnnto a rom with a double bed - not the twins we had asked for. NO fuss, and we were offered another room - ie one each. Lovey rooms, very comfy bed, everything working really well. Even a Dyson fan to keep the heat at bay. Very delicious coffee in the morning − Natural or coconut yoghurt/kefir n the morning, and possibly some fruit?

Wonderful + We had a lovely room. Very large comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. − Our shower was just warm and then cold when my husband used it.

Ambience was of a high standard, food selection good, service most attentive. + The various sectors of the Filly were contrasting in the inside and outside areas both of a high standarrf − The inside bar and dining toom

Expensive on accommodation but food was good. Staff could do with some stress management training. + Excellent food, good location, nice room. − GM was stressed due to kitchen issue, but quite rude to us. Check-in listed as 2pm on booking confirmation but he told us 3pm so we had to come back. Hair dryer so hot it burnt my head and PAT test was dated 2023. GM just said it had been PAT tested since then but the sticker dropped off. Any decent electrician would remove old sticker so that didn't strike us as truthful. Other staff were stand offish but it felt like a stressful environment to work in, so not surprised.

+ Het eten was lekker, zowel avondeten als ontbijt. − De kamer was oppervlakkig schoongemaakt, maar op de lampen, kaders en deurlijsten hingen vol met stof. De glazen in het restaurant en de pub waren niet proper. Het ontbijt begon zogezegd om 8u, maar we moesten eerst al een kwartier zitten koekeloeren vooraleer er nog maar gevraagd werd wat we wilden drinken, en pas om kwart voor 9 kregen we effectief ons ontbijt. Een dikke tegenvaller.

Friendly, relaxing Inn with a great Restaurant and patio area. + Very “laid back” vibe to the place with a comfortable atmosphere. Beautiful patio area. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and we were impressed with the wide range of choice on the menu. Breakfast was also very good. Staff were all good. The room was ok for 1 night, bathroom was good and proper toiletries were provided alongside lovely fluffy soft towels. Bed was super comfortable. − The windows in our room were velux windows so no view available but also limited airflow. We did have a fan, which we should have used as the room was quite warm. Air conditioning in the room would have made it better.
