Excellent stay. + Excellent stay here. Rooms are great size, big and as photos show you. The restaurant on site is some of the best food we’ve had so far! Their nasi goreng is delightful. Room cleaned daily. Pool area is immaculate. A very zen, jungle feel place! − It’s really far from anything. Not actually sure what else is in the are, so do your research. Would need to use Grab bikes or rent your own scooter from the hotel to get around. We only stayed here to go to the Bali Safari Park.. wouldn’t waste your time. It’s more of a glorified zoo. Great for kids, but really not as described.

Exceptional + The location is great with the wildlife and not too far for the beaches. I liked our room even though we had the odd snake and lizard in the room. It just added to the experience. The staff are always so happy and friendly even the gardeners and room cleaners. Always happy to help.The trees and gardens are well looked after. I like the fact the staff reminded us of our booking came with breakfast We didn't realise .thankyou for that also the choice was great. − Not having a TV so you could keep up with the news or watch the odd movie when it was raining . Although it's not the end of the world as we didn't come to Bali to watch TV . Some of the wood is rotten and needs replacing as after a rain storm there was a slight smell of damp cotton wood . It wouldn't stop us coming back though.

Off the beaten path, healthy food choices + Relaxed, birds, friendly staff without being nosey. The restaurant has healthy food choices (yogurt, granola, avocado bowl), which is generally difficult to find. − The location doesn’t provide much for walking or exploring. You’re pretty much stuck at the resort with a book. No other restaurants nearby.

Very good + What I loved most about Sacred River is a feeling the whole place is truly at one with nature. It was quiet during my stay which made it even more special - I was able to tune into the symphony of birds, marvel at the extraordinary butterflies, be calmed by flowing water (my room felt a bit like a tree house, perched high adjacent to the narrow river that was in full flow) and a lush green cocoon with bursts of colour to nurture the soul. The food was lovely and all the staff were exceptional. Special thanks to my massage therapist who cared for me over 3 intensive sessions with such a beautiful open heart. This was the perfect place to recentre after a 5 day meditation retreat elsewhere. Suksma 🙏

Superb + We are 40 and 50 and we loved this place. Small entry to room as my partner is quite tall. Loved peace and quiet and night Safari. Would come back. − Nothing. Yes some gaps in bathroom wall but could lock bathroom and no stress àt all

Very good + Our pool villa room was huge and full of character. The staff were really lovely and it gave us a beautiful Balinese authentic experience. − I would suggest that this accommodation is more of a forest escape, rather than a beach escape but they do provide a free shuttle to the beach and, to be fair, it is only 5 mins away by bike. The food in the hotel restaurant is fairly basic, and there are no other alternative restaurants within walking distance.

Struttura suggestiva, ma camere da rivedere + La struttura è pazzesca e immersa nella natura, deve essere un’oasi di puro relax. Il personale è molto cordiale e ci ha accolto alle 21:30 per il check-in. Avevamo necessità di effettuare il check-out molto presto e ci avevano proposto una box per la colazione, che però purtroppo la mattina della partenza il ragazzo che doveva consegnarcele dormiva (erano anche le 5 di mattina), ma abbiamo apprezzato comunque il gesto! − Purtroppo la camera assegnata non corrispondeva a quella prenotata su Booking. Era piuttosto diversa dalle foto e ci è stato detto che si trattava dell’ultima disponibile. Avendo bisogno di soggiornare solo una notte, abbiamo accettato, ma ci aspettavamo maggiore coerenza con quanto prenotato. Peccato, perché l’esperienza avrebbe potuto essere più positiva.

Eine Oase der Ruhe in der Natur + Eine tolle Atmosphäre und sehr nettes Personal mit Liebe zum Detail. Pool und Restaurant sind toll mit Blick in den Dschungel. Frühstücken und den vielen bunten Schmetterlingen zu schauen. Die Zimmer sind schön und durch ein Upgrade hatten wir die fantastische Pool-Villa. − Nichts, aber man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es abgelegen und ruhig liegt. Mit Grab konnten wir aber zum Strand und tollen Wasserfällen in 10-20 Min.

3 beautiful days! + Stayed 3 nights at Keramas and it was just stunning and everyone was fantastic and very welcoming 😊 My room was really large, beautiful, and tucked away with jungle view and privacy. I did the Canang Sari session which was so beautiful (so much harder than it looks!) and got to see the Foundation and temple next to the resort. Really recommend the hibiscus tea! − The river and nearby jungle does invite a lot of mosquitoes, so I really recommend using insect repellent before heading to dinner!
