Loved it! + Breakfast and location excellent! − My fault as I have a problem with my left shoulder and cannot use it to climb stairs. I had to go up on hands and knees but can come down normally. Hence a right side rail would be persaonnly helpful of me. Staff were great though in helping with baggage.

Picturesque and peaceful + Peaceful, well equipped, beautiful views − Too many scented fragrances, fridge made a clicking sound in and off all night which stopped me from getting much sleep.

A lovely stay in a great pub in a beautiful village. + A great overnight stay in this lovely village pub. It feels a real little haven. A good room and friendly staff with great food and drink. − Nothing.

Wonderful! + Location idyllic, staff exceptional. Food excellent. The only slight problem we experienced was rectified almost immediately and very professionally. Highly recommend and would stay here again. − Mattress was unacceptable but staff were unaware until we brought it to their attention. They immediately ordered a new one and provided a temporary solution in the mean time.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Red Lion. Would recommend. + Village location perfect. Room good size, clean ,well stocked with tea ,biscuits etc, Bed very comfortable. Generous buffet breakfast. Food in restaurant superb. Staff friendly and relaxed.
