+ Staff was very friendly and helpful. Paid kaiseiki dinner was excellent. Location was excellent - close to the Kozenji temple. − in-room bathroom was very tight.

+ The hotel staff is the best (so far) that we have experienced in Japan. The onsen/ public bath is very spacious. The view from our room is quite good (cherry blossom was still bloom and mountain with snow-capped − Reading the review, we had a high expectation about the food, but it turned out to be so-so and too salty for all of us

Perfectly located for a visit to Komagatake + Located right beside one of the Komagatake Ropeway bus stops. Hotel offers free pick up to and from the Komagane train station or the bus interchange station from Shinjuku. Spacious room and good indoor/outdoor onsen for soaking after hiking Komagatake. Omakase dinner service was fantastic − Nothing

I dreamed of meeting japanese people at their best, it came True thanks to the personnel from Yamabuki Hotel in Komagané + First and foremost, i need to call out the extreme kindness and respecting employees from réception desk and the restaurant, always wearing a genuine smile on their faces, that made it for the best experience so far in Japan.

+ The service was exceptional! When we arrived to the city by bus it started raining, but we decided to go to 7/11 store nearby. Once we were done with our shopping it was pouring! We had to go back to Komagane interchange bus stop to get picked up by hotel staff but when we were walking the bus driver somehow recognized it is probably us he is coming to pick up, he stoped and saved us from walking in the heavy rain. The hotel itself was nice and clean. If you are coming to climb the northern alps I would recommend to stay here.

+ We stayed with my daughter 5 year old and my parents who are getting older. We loved every single part of our stay with Hotel Yamabuki. Such a welcoming staff who came to greet us when we parked our car even at night, helped to carry our luggage from the car to the hotel. Highlight of our stay is also breakfast, it was served downstairs with ‘Irori’ and it was delicious. The location is also perfect if you are doing hikes, Senjojiki circle. − None

One of the best breakfasts + Lovely staff, great location for the mountain hikes, amazing dining area. − Onsen and rooms a bit tired, value for money not as good as other places.
