Unfortunately, the stay was not worth the money spent. + The hotel is located in a wonderful spot, facing a clean and beautiful beachfront. The location is definitely one of its strongest points. The swimming pool also looked new and well maintained, even though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Although the food menu was quite limited, the dishes we had were delicious and well presented. − My previous stay was in October 2021, and compared to then, the overall condition of the hotel appears to have declined. The bathrooms had an unpleasant odor. The hot water shower unit was loose and kept rotating, making it difficult to use properly. There was also no proper lighting in the balcony area as well as the shower area. The biggest disappointment was the experience at reception. The middle-aged lady at the front desk (who appeared to be leading the front office) gave the impression that the hotel was offering services free of charge rather than as a paid stay. Vom Assistenten des General Managers, Srimal, bis hin zum Betreuer am Swimmingpool waren alle außerordentlich hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Essen: Da wir die einzigen Gäste im Restaurant waren, hat sich der Chefkoch persönlich um uns gekümmert und uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Diese individuelle Betreuung war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Eine besondere und beeindruckende Erfahrung war hingegen der fast tägliche Besuch eines wilden, aber sehr neugierigen Elefanten, der regelmäßig zu den Wasserbecken kam, um zu trinken und zu duschen. It was short indeed! We travelled 270km from Colombo. 15 minutes prior to our arrival they cancelled our reservation and + Nothing! They cancelled the reservation just 15 minutes before our arrival for some made up reason and they didn’t even apologize! − The staff! Management! Their organization and communication skills!

We had a fabulous stay. Staff were very attentive. The pool boy made our time by the pool tip top - great attention to d + Location is superb! Stunning views. 5 mins from Gate 1 entrance. Yala Safari was 10/10 we used Dinuka Safari, we can’t recommend these highly enough…loved every minute. − Renovation work being carried out, was a little noisy at times.

Bra läge + Hotellet har ett riktigt bra läge nära havet, vilket är ett stort plus. Det finns också en stor och härlig pool där man kan koppla av. Rummen är stora och rymliga, vilket gör vistelsen bekväm. Frukosten och middagen var bra med god mat och helt okej variation. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam, vilket alltid uppskattas. Dessutom ligger hotellet nära safari, vilket gör det smidigt om man vill åka på utflykter. Faciliteterna är inte jätte moderna, men allt är rent och välskött, så det funkar absolut bra. Sammanfattningsvis ett bra hotell med fint läge och trevlig atmosfär! − Renoveringen av visa faciliteter behövs med tiden , men iaf allt är rent

Decadente. + La localización, la piscina, el servicio y el elefante visitante − Realmente es una pena el estado de las instalaciones. Nos alojamos en el ala derecha y nuestro edificio era el único que no se estaba cayendo a trozos. Ventanas rotas, suelos levantados, barandillas caídas… además la limpieza a fondo brilló por su ausencia. Esperaba poder estar en una habitación con vistas magníficas al mar o poder darme un baño en el lavabo con las mismas vistas, y los cristales están prácticamente opacos de la suciedad acumulada. Lo mismo en el gimnasio. Es una pena terrible tener esas cristaleras con las vistas tan impresionantes y no poder ver a través de ellas. En el baño, cal y marcas por la falta de limpieza acumulada durante años. La comida, pésima y EXTREMADAMENTE CARA. Sin duda la cena más costosa de todo nuestro viaje en Sri Lanka y nos sentimos totalmente estafados porque la calidad del buffet no lo justificaba. Experiencia de luces y sombras en este hotel + Nos vamos de este hotel con sentimientos encontrados. Por un lado, tiene aspectos realmente increíbles, pero por otro, creemos que hay varios detalles importantes que deberían mejorar, especialmente teniendo en cuenta el precio que pagamos. La ubicación es espectacular, literalmente en primera línea de playa, y la piscina es increíble. Además, el personal fue súper amable, atento y dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo momento. Habíamos leído algunas opiniones bastante malas sobre la comida y, sinceramente, a nosotros nos sorprendió para bien: estaba muy rica y disfrutamos mucho de las comidas allí.
