It was nice to experience the Portuguese influence of Goa, and building was beautiful, but feel was overpriced for what + The beautiful building and gardens − Food was limited, especially breakfast. staff struggled to understand you so therefore not most helpful and didn’t inform you of A lot, e.g music nights you’d need to book for.. we weren’t told anything was on at all so went for dinner and was told we’d have to go out or eat in our room

A perfect stay in a perfect location - very quiet village. + The history of the property was very interesting and preserved by the owners. The staff were very courteous and accommodating throughout our stay, lovely people. And the wellness spa was a welcome bonus. − Not applicable

Wondeful stay + Beautiful property, with amazing decor and facilities. Staffing were really accomodating and friendly, always happy to go above and beyond to help. − This isn’t really a negative just something to note: if you stay here you require a means of transportation, either bike or car, reception staff can help you arrange it.

Very nice place + The staff were always super hepful and attentive, the resort itself is super beautiful and clean! Our room was spacious with the garden view which was awesome! the pool was clean and overall we had a lot of fun there. Also there was a Portuguese night in the restaurant, it was very nice! − none

Our first room wasn’t the best, but the staff were swift to move us into a beautiful suite. The head of housekeeping was + It’s a beautiful Portuguese colonial building in a delightful setting − Nothing, it’s a fabulous place to stay.

+ This place was like being in paradise, very quite and very well maintained. The restaurant was fantastic, very friendly and attentive staff. The food was amazing, excellent choices on the menu and always cooked to perfection. This restaurant is one of the best I have eaten in, and the prices of meals was very reasonable. I would highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant, and if I visit south goa again, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in such beautiful surroundings and were well looked-after by the excellent staff and they were kind + Absolutely beautiful building packed full of antique furniture. Incredible grounds and pool. Lovely restaurant and bar.

Characterful, relaxing, lovely staff and authentic. + The grounds are kept beautifully, the staff were wonderful (friendly, welcoming and helpful - especially Shane and Asher), food and drink excellent, lovely room with garden view. They have renovated it well and yet kept the Portugeese character. − I only wish I could stay longer.
