+ The manageress couldn't do enough for us, we were late arrivals and she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Little gem in a residential area, tastefully decorated with everything you need. 10 mins walk into town for good cooked breakfast, muffins, museli and yogurts in room. Good quality tea and coffee fresh milk. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. − Roads getting there a bit tight and complicated but not too bad found parking and the hotel arranged a permit so all good.

Delightful few days away in a wonderful city, with accommodation to match. + Charming pub with characterful decor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were even provided with a simple, but much appreciated breakfast offering of fruit and muffins which we weren't expecting. Would definitely come back. − Not super central, but definitely walkable to everything we wanted to see.

Charming but facilities need maintenance. + Charming old pub with friendly staff, good bar and location, ample parking, quiet neighbourhood. − Kitchen was closed too early, had to find food elsewhere. The toilet didn't work, we had to improvise using the rubbish bin as bucket to fully flush the toilet. I was expecting we would get switched to another room, instead we were told to use the pub toilet downstairs if we need to go.

+ Bellissimo pub storico con giardino/dehors. Molto frequentato anche se non immediatamente in centro. Il quartiere è tranquillissimo. Ci è piaciuta molto la colazione nel frigo in camera, con prodotti freschi del pub.

+ Good location, friendly service. Nice room with old feel even if a bit tired. − Very soft bed, no good for my back. Noisy downstairs until nearly midnight which was annoying as staff said doors closed 11.00.

Nice place and good location. + A nice little one-night stay: quiet location but close to town centre. Nice room, spotless and nice to have real coffee, fresh milk and the bonus breakfast in room (granola, yoghurt, fruit & muffin). We ate at the pub too, nice food and nice buzz even mid-week, clearly a popular place and a nice pub garden. Welcoming staff. − My only comment is the mattress was a bit lumpy but that may be personal choice.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and somewhere we would be happy to return to. + A very friendly welcome, with the staff being helpful, accommodating and attentive. We stayed in a large Classic Room, which was tastefully furnished, clean and more than adequate for our needs. The en-suite bathroom was also very good, with quality towels provided. A nice touch was the complimentary continental breakfast, which was much appreciated. Access to the room was easy and convenient, making the whole stay very pleasant. − The only aspect that was out of sync with the otherwise excellent standard of the accommodation was the mattress. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortable and felt uneven, which resulted in a rather disturbed night’s sleep. This was disappointing, particularly as everything else about the room and our stay was very good.
