Acuaverde is the BEST!!! + We had a great room with a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again! − The only very small negative was the food in the onsite restaurant. The buffet restaurant used on weekends was excellent. But the smaller restaurant/bar near the beach was not so good. The food and service were lacking quality. Other than that, Acuaverde is an excellent resort!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay! This is easily one of the best resorts I’ve experienced. The rooms were spotles + impressively clean! Even with a few cats roaming the grounds, the property remained well-maintained and free of any unpleasant odors (like cat pee or poop). − "Observed an off-leash dog wandering the cabana area today; the owners failed to notice or clean up after it pooped on the sand. Suggestion for better enforcement of pet rules to keep the beach sanitary for everyone

The worst resort in Laiya Beach + I like the coutesy and politeness of the staff who were sweeping the surroundings outside and the staff who offered to help us bring back our bags upon check out. − We did not like the 2 rooms assigned to us. The cabinets, bathroom doors, and as whole. They are too old and lack maintenance. The bathrooms smell moldy and smell dogs! There were lots of mosquitoes inside the rooms. The outlet for hot water kettle and cellphone is not functioning. The aircon units temperature cannot be adjusted and we felt so cold. The front desk staff could not offer other rooms and were not accomodating enough. There are lots of maintenance needed to be done even outside Acua Verde. Roofs are too old.

Just a relaxing weekend . Clean breeze smell , pet friendly beach , and very nice and honest people around the resort. J + its pet friendly and less crowd in the beach. All staffs were courteous. Triple deluxe room is nice and comfortable. − I did not like casa marina queen - no closet inside this room. Very small bathroom and walls looked unmaintained. The front door needs to be checked as it rubs on the floor and the door knob is loose.

Great place to chill away from the tourist crowds. + The property presents a typical native Filipino village vibe with thatched roofs in a quiet location away from crowds. Very quiet and perfect to relax with a cold beer and a good book in one of their cabanas on the beach. Just right to chill and relax. Very enjoyable. − Service and menu options tend to be geared towards Filipino tastes. Nothing wrong with that of course but international choices are limited if that is what you are looking for. When we were there there was a lot of construction work going on to renovate rooms and parking. It did not get in the way of a pleasant stay per se and it will be great when finished. We were told about it in advance but the extent to which the renovations are taking place was a little more than expected.
