Perfect spot to have a home away from home while you explore Lisbon. + Really cute, cosy spot in a great location in the heart of alfama. Margarida was a really helpful and communicative host who was always available and offering suggestions to help us make the most out of our visit. − The only thing to consider (this wasn’t an issue for us as we were tired and slept well!) is that it can be noisy throughout the night as it is a busy area.

+ The spot in Alfama is a beautiful apartment in a picturesque location in the heart of Alfama. One little caveat which comes with the location is that in June there will be festivals in the street, so be prepared to hear noise sometimes until 5 in the morning. The host Margarida was super lovely, warm and helpful, always ready with great advice about activities to do in the city. Thank you for everything, we loved our stay! − No air conditioning - which normally would've been fine but should heatwave of 45 degrees come again, be prepared for some sweaty nights 😉

What a magnificent place to stay in Alfama! + Unbeatable position in a beautiful square , walkable to everything. Traditional accommodation at its best. We loved having the windows open and watching all the action in the square. The tips and suggestions from the host were such a help , and the welcome food/ wine a lovely touch.

Super comfy apartment set in a nice little square in Alfama. + This property was a super place to stay, it had everything you could need. Margarida our host was very welcoming and gave us a load of information about Lisbon and where to go and do. When we go back to Lisbon we will want to stay here again. Útulný apartmán, nádherná lokalita a příjemná hostitelka + Pobyt v historickém centru Lisabonu byl pro nás skutečně výjimečný. Apartmán je útulný, obsahuje potřebné vybavení a hlavně má skvělou lokalitu. Hostitelka je velmi milá - neustále posílala typy na místa, památky a výlety. Doporučila nám také některé lokální restaurace a byla ochotná s čímkoliv poradit. Lze jen vřele doporučit.

What a great jumping point to explore all that Lisbon and the surrounds have to offer. + If you want the true Alfama experience and not some tourist trap hotel, this is your place! Margarida goes above and beyond to help make your stay perfect, from being punctual for check in to providing an assortment of snacks and tips on places to go and things to see. There is live fado drifting in the open air windows each night from the restaurant on the square, a resident selling ginjinha from her stoop next door, laundry hanging outside on the line, and the hustle and busy of real people living everyday lives in the Alfama. Are the property and square outside silent? No. But you wouldn't be looking in the Alfama district if that was what you wanted. Close walk to most things. Grocery nearby. Bus, metro and train nearby. By far one of our favorite bookings ever.

+ Das Apartement liegt perfekt nahe öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel und viel Gastronomie. Es ist klein aber sehr komfortabel und top ausgestattet. Die Fenster sind absolut schalldicht. Die Vermieterin gab neben einem lieben Willkommenstisch mit Knabbereien, Rotwein und Wasser viele Tips für den Aufenthalt in Lissabon. Alles in allem super empfehlenswert! − Alles Top

Our hostess was absolutely out of this world. She was always available and always willing to recommend places to see and + You could open your window and be part of the Fado experience. We had our lovely small square to view. When it was too much, we could close everything and not be a part of it. − It was all lovely

Bonita estancia en el barrio de Alfama + Apartamento muy bonito y decorado con gusto. Fiel a las fotos, no es muy grande pero es muy acogedor. Situación ideal en el centro de Alfama. Margarida super atenta en todo momento, hizo que nuestra estancia en Lisboa fuera super bien. Sin duda repetiríamos si volvemos a Lisboa. − Todo fue genial.

Highly recommend staying!!! + Great location - within walking distance of lots of sights you will be wanting to see. Also close to public transport which is really handy. Margarida is so lovely to deal with. Super helpful - gives you lots of info with recommendations on what to see and very kind. Loved the goodies that she left for us....especially those pastel de Natas!!! Bed really comfortable too! − Nothing that I can think of.

The most amazing big thing about this property is the owner. She is incredible! Before and during our stay, communication with her was exceptional. Outstanding + A lovely and cozy place, literally, in the heart of Alfama, an area that well represents the soul of Lisbon and, why not, of Portugal. An excellent apartment, very comfortable, with a complete infrastructure, extremely well located, nicely decorated. A vivid place, surrounded by nice restaurants with live music, the wonderful “fado“. A walking distance from lots of reference places in Lisbon. Mrs. Margarida, an extremely kind hostess, did everything to make you feel at home, including courtesies, and suggestions about places to visit. Easy check-in and checkout. We’ve stayed for three nights but, if possible, we would like to have stayed much longer. "Taste of wanna come back"! Highly recommended! − Everything perfect!

A perfect place to stay for 2 people who want to experience Alfama life. Hostess is always available to answer your ques + It’s a very cute courtyard apartment which overlooks the magnificent church. The apartment is incredibly catered for, is clean & welcoming. Its location is great for getting around local areas and has some amazing restaurants nearby. − We loved everything.
