Luxurious Onsen Experience + Everything was exceptional - this was likely the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at! The room was beautiful, the view, the private onsen, it was very cozy! The staff were very welcoming and explained everything to us. The public baths were also so beautiful and relaxing, extremely well-stocked in terms of toiletries and amenities. The food was amazing as well - beautifully served and so very delicious! Couldn't recommend the hotel more! − Everything was great!

+ The meals were amazing! It was like having dinner at a restaurant with a one star rating from a certain French tire company. The Kanaya family has been serving up luxury for over 100 years and it shows. We loved our room, the view, and the service. − There is an electric tower that cuts into the view, but for our photos at least we could digitally remove it. It affects neighboring hotels as well.

The food was absolutely out of this world—beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with incredible flavor. Every meal felt like a true highlight. Combined with the authentic cultural atmosphere and meticulous attention to detail throughout the property, this stay felt like a fully immersive and memorable experience. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already wanting to come back. − Nothing was negative, the level of attention to details didnt allow for any negative feedback. This was a true once in a lifetime experience.
