Wunderschöne Quinta am Douro + Ruhig am Fluss gelegen, hochwertig ausgestattet mit allem Komfort, herzliche Gastgeber und sehr gutes portugiesisches Essen. Bestens geeignet für Familien oder Paare. Mit Innen- und Außenpool, Spielplatz, großer Wiese und guter Weinauswahl bei gutem wie bei schlechtem Wetter eine großartige Unterkunft. Danke an Rui und Elisabeth für einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Exceptional + We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta de Cabanas. Rui and Elizabeth are fantastic hosts that will make everything in their power to make your stay unforgettable and to make you feel at home. As for the place, this one has absolutely exceeded all our expectations, that was a fantastic experience to be able to privatize an entire boutique hotel just for ourselves. Everything was just perfect, we had the comfort of an hotel and the intimacy of a private home. All the rooms were cosy and each room had its own bathroom and we're equipped with A/C and heat. We really loved this last point, because we never felt cold during our stay, neither in our room nor the common spaces. Common spaces which we also really appreciated, this was cool to have spaces where to gather during the day. We particularly appreciate the dinner area with the huge table with a capacity of 20 persons. That was perfect for our dinners and the breakfast. We loved to have been able to have dinner altogethe…

It is a hidden paradise. Do not hesitate and book, if available. + We were very lucky to book this stay last minute. Lots of dates are gone long in advance. We traveled as a family of three and really enjoyed every moment of ours stay. Hospitality is at the top level! Rui is very friendly and welcoming host. The Quinta is located in amazingly beautiful and picturesque place with nice views around. Do book the dinner, it was absolutely fabulous, the dinner exceeded our expectations and it is certainly worth the price asked. Lots of nice facilities, two pools, a sauna, a gym and a paddle tennis court and beautiful surroundings. We would like to come back! Thank you, Rui and your family. − Only the shortness of our stay. I would prefer to stay at least one more night!

A wonderful place to stay, with stunning views of the Douro. + The Quinta de Cabanas is a beautifully renovated and extended stone house, with a stunning view of the Douro Valley. The owner made us so welcome and, when we asked, was happy to show us the before and after photos - what a superb construction project. The pool and paddle ball court wee both fantastic. The food, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious.

Exceptional + Great pace with great hosts, nice view of the Duro walley and peaceful location. My wife had a knee injury, so our host went to buy a crutch for her. If you want to relax far away from cities and tourist crowds, this is the pace! Good wines and perfect view of Duro walley. It was one of the best accomodation we ever had.

Exceptional + What an amazing place to stay! The views over the valley and the Douro River are absolutely stunning. The hotel blends perfectly with its surroundings and offers great amenities, including a padel court, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, and more. Everything is spotless and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The hosts and staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

Exceptional + The staff, location and facilities were all fantastic. The staff were attentive, considerate and friendly. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms but had immediate access to a terrace outside our room and the much bigger communal living space, restaurant and activity spaces available. We really enjoyed our stay and would visit again. − Nothing.

Perfect for a big family getaway + This place was a dream. My wife and I stayed here for two nights with both of our families following our wedding (12 adults and 6 kids). It was like something out of a movie. Padel court, inside and outdoor pool. Sauna and steam room. And on the second night we paid extra for a chef-catered dinner (buffet which was amazing). The chef also helped with gluten free options for my celiac sister in law. 6 of us also had massages booked for the second day which were great. The only thing I wish, is that we could stay longer. We would love to stay here again. Hopefully next year. LOVED IT!!! − Nothing. The manager I spoke to on whatsapp was so helpful throughout.
