Location only, it was a hard night as surprisingly they gave me a room for 2 adults where actually fits for only 1 perso + Location is good − I can describe my 1 night staying as a not comfortable staying. My room was located in the (ground floor with 2 beds supposed to be for 2 adults!), literary there was no space to move inside the room or to have 2 persons’ luggage! The bed was soo small for an adult! It was a hard August night as the weather was hot so it was hard to sleep as the only source of having some air to breath was the window which is actually opens directly to the street in a ground floor where I expect any person or insect or animal to be inside the room through that window!! I do not recommend the breakfast.The location was good.

Good stay in Windermere and they gave good advice about what to do in the area. + Nice breakfast professionally made and served room was great and they were happy to grant our request of twin beds − Shower was difficult to operate at first but we got the hang of it.

+ - de ligging: op wandelafstand van het station, de hoofdstraat met winkels en zelfs het meer was meer een mijl stappen - bushalte 'Windermere Library' waar de 555 (Keswick, Bowness) en 599 (Ambleside en Grasmere en Bowness open top buses) passeert - mooie grote kamer met een hemelbed zoals gevraagd - lekker ontbijt: knusse ruimte en het English breakfast was eerste klas gekookt, ook klein 'koud' buffet - de health club niet gebruikt, want die ligt op 15 minuten met de auto en ik was met de trein (maar ook geen behoefte aan een health club, schrijf dit gewoon als waarschuwing dat je beter een auto hebt daarvoor) − - niet veel personeel gezien, 1x aan de receptie bij het inchecken (andere keren dat ik passeerde altijd leeg), en aan het ontbijt, die waren heel vriendelijk

Lovely friendly staff. Fantastic location. + The staff were really friendly. A casual place basic. Breakfast was lovely small pastries cereals toast is do it your self in the machine or cooked options. Central to the town a 2 min walk if that and a few mins drive to a lovely swim spot. Shower great hot hot water. Great value for money. Included was the use of the Damson dean hotel spa (there sister hotel) about a 15 min drive away. Again lovely staff. However dated and unfortunately the pool was cold on the two days we used it. We had a fantastic massage with Sharon and I would highly recommend! − Lovely property however it is dated. The bed sadly was not comfortable a new mattress required. Bathroom fan full of dust and a portable fan full of dust. Maybe has not been used for a while not sure.
