A superb place to stay. + Everything at Spicers was beyond our expectations. The ambience, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the decor and the gardens were absolutely incredible. We had the most wonderful couple of days and will certainly return in the future. The breakfasts each morning were superb and the staff were so polite and lovely. We found it very hard to leave! − There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was superb.

Beautiful we will be back + Everything the grounds are stunning, the rooms are clean and beautiful, very private, staff are excellent and very professional. − Didn’t love the meals. We had dinner and breakfast none of which I rated.

We had a lovely relaxing time for a few days over the period of our 60th wedding anniversary. + We'd been there before, and found things pretty much the same, that's why we chose it again. Food is superb, accommodation too. Beautiful lawns and gardens, and so peaceful and relaxing. We'll be back... − Handrails to steps in garden terraces, handrails to help get in and out of the swimming pool.

Spicers was lovely, long apron not so much + Location, grounds and rooms were lovely − The food at the Long Apron was very average and disappointing. Particularly breakfast - so underwhelming for the price you pay. Not sure if that was because it was Easter weekend and kitchen staff were different, or if that is just the standard.

staff were great and it is a nice place to stay - thank you + breakfast and food was great − for the price - a bath or spa should be included.

Booked to experience luxury and chef delicious food and hot that but didn’t feel value for money + Property was great very country feel. Room was big and luxurious − Dinner and breakfast was very delicious but a little small portion size. Sausage ragu only had 4 bits of sausage. Room has dirty carpet and pillows were flat. We have stayed at other Spicers and this one was not up to their standards.
