+ Staff were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable and despite being busy were lovely to everyone. Restaurant great and food amazing. Breakfast also great. Thank you. Beds were very very comfortable − Very noisy, doors slamming, rooms not great soundproofing. Tea and coffee pretty basic for the amount of money paid, not enough for 2 people.. One set of hair shampoo and soaps, not enough for two people. Pool is very small and no towels available. Need to make it clear at checkin how to use the pool. Very expensive for what you got. Upstairs quite tired looking.

Just what we were looking for ….and more ! + Very comfortable and charming hotel with great staff , tasty food and well appointed rooms Good quality bedding and a huge bathroom with walk in shower , bath and a large vanity unit for all of our stuff Nice big fluffy white towels and got an extra one to use at the pool which is very small but I was the only one there , so no prob We had breakfast and dinner both days and we really enjoyed the food Well presented and very tasty Staff were so friendly and happy to help I read previous good reviews and they are all true , so go ahead and book this wee charming place . You will be well looked after and for a very reasonable price Would def return and highly recommend

Nice stay and staff are a credit to this hotel + On arrival we were greeted by a very nice gentleman. The first room we were given overlooked the street and had a window that didn't close properly so you could hear traffic noise quite loudly. My husband asked about the possibility of another room and we offered an alternative at the back of the hotel so we were very pleased. The staff here were all lovely and they did their upmost to help and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic but clean and everything you would expect, tea making facilities, iron, hairdryer etc. The food was good, great service and overall we enjoyed our stay here. We didn't use the pool so can't comment on that. Car park is across the road from the hotel and did get full so a couple of occasions we had to park on the street but not a big deal as ample places. Would definitely stay here again.

Goed + Ontbijt;Alles was lekker en werd goed bijgevuld personeel; vriendelijk avondeten; goed − Een hele week met de zelfde handdoeken was vies, diverse keren bij de balie om schone gevraagd maar nooit gekregen dus zelf maar nieuwe gekocht in een winkel om de hoek. op de kamer lagen onder het bed en de nachtkastje's nog spullen / medicijn doosje's van vorige gasten.

+ Great hotel with friendly staff, great food, and great facilities. Located on the main street in Newtonmore, it also makes it perfect for exploring the village.

Great stop off. + Lovely friendly welcome, all staff we interacted with were lovely. Good size room, good shower. Dinner was tasty.. Breakfast also good. − We had a room on the front by the main road. It was busy during the late afternoon and early evening. Traffic lightened off a little overnight, but there were still trucks going past at 4am... And they definitely were not doing 20mph!

+ L'hôtel est bien situé, bien qu'un tout petit peu cher, nous avons vécu une très bonne expérience et nous ne pouvons que recommander de prendre cet hôtel (qui n'a, à ma surprise que 3 étoiles). − Il ne manquait qu'un sauna pour compléter le séjour et l'expérience :-)

+ Das Hotel ist wunderschön und besitzt eine herausragende Lage. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! In dem Hotel kann man hervorragend (für eine Schottische Kleinstadt)zu Abend essen. − Wir waren in Zimmer 1, direkt neben dem Schwimmbad. Es war sehr warm und das Fenster ließ sich auch nicht sehr weit öffnen. Das Hotel ist auf Grund seines Alters sehr hellhörig und man kriegt alles mit was über einem passiert.

Great place for a wee break in the Cairngorms. + Lovely hotel with great parking. Pool was an added bonus. Would be great if they could put in a jacuzzi and sauna. Food was good and there is a pleasant bar. Highlight was the friendly, helpful staff.

Unimpressive and functional + Staff are always fab and great with the product they are paid to deal with. − Room was dated, bed was extremely old and evidently had been repaired in the central portion as it peaked in the middle and rolled off either side.
