+ Staff are lovely smiling and helpful we will come next time and get a deal where we can use the spa and have our meals included as the food was great but didnt use the spa as it wasn't included in our 2 night stay we Come up regularly as my 85 year old dad lives in skelmersdale we come all the way from Cornwall so spa would be relaxing such a great choice of food the breakfast is great amd fresh − Nothing

Quick + Close to m6 − The interior decor was nice the exterior however not so, looked dated and dangerous in places felt odd having such a rough exterior and an interior that had just been “patched up”. Receptionist was lovely.

If your wanting a Spa weekend this place isn’t the best for that + The staff in the restaurant were lovely and the food in the evening was reasonably priced and decent. − The spa facilities were not the best the sauna was broken, there was no bookings available for massages and you pay £10 for the pool and steam room that’s it but you have to pay an extra £20 to use the hydro pool area. The picture was our view from our window.

We only arrived late on in the night and just wanted to get a shower and go to bed. There were no towels in the room, I + Friendly staff − No towels, and took 20+ mins to get some after phoning front desk.

Great stay with kids + We went with kids and they were very welcome. The two bedroom cottage was great and spacious. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. − The grounds could do with some tidying but didn’t affect our stay
