Parfait pied à terre pour un séjour à Chamonix. Un peu excentré, au calme mais très accessible à pied du centre. + La demi-pension était exceptionnelle. Petit déjeuner et dîner excellent. Je suis arrivée après le dîner le premier soir et on m’a offert un plateau de fromage et charcuterie à mon arrivée et un lunch box pour compenser. Très belle attention. − Vraiment minuscule chambre et salle de bain mais comme démontré sur les photos

+ We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful and charming. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and quiet.

It was a pleasant no-frills overnight stay, would be glad to repeat, when passing through the region + The glacier view is incredible. The personnel were very cordial and attentive to needs and small special requests. The bedding was high quality, and the bathroom was recently remodeled; the room was very clean. Breakfast was good, with sufficient variety of cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, etc., and an option of boiled eggs. The location is a bit outside of the old town of Chamonix, but easily reachable on foot (10-15 min, pleasant walk) or by public transport (bus stops next to the hotel). It is still best for guests arriving by car. − Overall, the place is rustic, and common areas need a facelift. Dinner as part of the demi-pension menu is a fixed menu, and getting a canteen-level hamburger and fries as a main dish in the iconic French mountain resort was a bit off. The stay was from Monday to Tuesday; perhaps the kitchen staff is on a weekly break that day, and on other days the menu …

Comfortable stay 15 minute walk from downtown Chamonix! + Stayed in a nice 4-bed single room with comfortable twin size beds and a nice view of the landscape opposite Mt. Blanc. Ceiling a little low/slanted due to the slanted roof but my group thought it added to the charm. Easy 15 min walk to the downtown section of Chamonix! − N/A

+ L’hôtel se trouve à seulement deux minutes à pied de la gare et offre une vue magnifique sur le Mont-Blanc. Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux. La chambre est petite, mais le lit est très confortable. L’insonorisation n’est pas très bonne, donc la qualité de votre sommeil dépend beaucoup de vos voisins. Le dîner a largement dépassé nos attentes : le service et les plats étaient tous deux excellents. − Nothing.

Worth every penny for a great stay over at Chamonix + We only slept there for one night. Check in, room and staff were all amazing, but to top it off, the breakfast was amazing. All very good genuine products. Very good overall experience.
