Nice Quiet stay in Rugby + Always stay here when I am working in Rugby. Easy to get to and quiet. Didn't have dinner this time but food is always good. Breakfast is great. Quirky hotel. If you want modern look then its not for you but I love it

Excellent stay + Access was easy. It was well positioned for the attractions i want to visit.

+ Had a lovely room full of character, and the place itself is set in lovely grounds, check in was easy and seamless. The only minor gripe i would have, would be that at breakfast time which again was excellent, was that the baked beans seemed cold from the serve station. Apart from that very minor thing i would certainly recommend staying there, and i will again im sure

Beautifu building, limited service + the place looks great. Amazing garden, the building is beautiful. However, i feel like they don't know how to manage a kitchen, with long waiting time (1 hour to serve a burger only for example), despite low number of clients at the restaurant. i believe there were like 6 or 7 dishes proposed, of which 3 were not available one night. breakfast starts, there is no plate. i ask for my invoice, i get the wrong one.. the building is beautiful but needs refreshing as well, paint is peeling off the ceiling in many areas. Most of the points i mention are rather related to poor management than real investment, i hope this helps the hotel to improve..

Nice for a change + Welcome friendly, site convenient and interesting. Very tired, needs a lot of investment.

+ We love staying in this old house. Always book a queen room to stay in main building and front character filled room. My only ask is if the hotel could fix the orange light outside. They are beautiful and give a fantastic glow but one has a lose connection and needs fixing. Beautiful and relaxing. We’ll be back.

+ hotel is very tired and needs updating the room had torn curtains & not as sparkling clean as expected. check in was fine & staff nice and friendly. food at dinner was fine and staff helpful although further training would improve this. All in all we would not stay again which is a shame as the hotel & grounds is beautiful.

Charming and characterful + I thought the hotel was delightful…old and full of character. We were stopping off for an overnight stay on route to a festival at Cropredy. The room was small but had all the essentials, comfy bed, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hopefully make this an annual stop over with our friends.

+ The room was a really good size and really clean. All needs are catered for here with the absolute fluffiest of beautifully white towels we've ever come across.
