My first and not my last stay. Everyone was a joy from valet, to desk, to lounge, to cafe. Lovely location on St Charles with easy distances to the Quarter, CBD, Magazine St shops and more. Seems to be a very popular weekend night spot for locals, too!

I've been to New Orleans a few different times, and this was by far the best hotel I've stayed in so far. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, and the on-site bars and food service were all amazing. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to New Orleans.

Lots of character and excellent location. Outside needs sprucing up, and grout in shower needs attention as well as the door handle to the room. It’s falling off. The deadbolt locks the door, so the handle is not really functional, but it’s a bad look. The devil is in the details.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly at the hotel.

Loved the location and the lounge but it smells like a nursing home in the room. It is an old building and has that smell .

This historic hotel is absolutely lovely, the streetcar is right outside the front door so it's easy to get around and super convenient. The room was great, and I loved the uniqueness of it. The accessible restroom was large and had everything that I needed. While the staff was kind, they weren't the most helpful. We had trouble finding a spot to park and unload on our arrival, and when we called the front desk asking for instructions, they didn't have any solutions for us other than "park in the unloading zone". The unloading zone wasn't visible and was full, so we had to circle the hotel for 20-30 minutes before we could even get inside, which was stressful on an unfamiliar city, especially one as busy as New Orleans. Cleaning staff did not come into the room each day, so whenever we needed anything (additional towels, toilet paper, to have the trash taken out, etc.) we had to call and ask for it specifically. There were also many times when we tried to call the front desk for a…

Good location near Magazine St for shopping and on tram route for French Quarter. Old fashioned stylish hotel with great live jazz music in the evening.
