Eine echte Ruhe Oase. + Hier findet man Ruhe. Keine anderen Hotels oder Stadt in der Nähe die Lärm verursachen. Nur Natur um einen herum. Die Zimmer sind sauber und trocken (da wir in anderen Hotels in Sri Lanka immer wieder einen muffigen Geruch hatten, hier im Ravana Garden nicht!). Die Klimaanlage läuft ruhig. Man hört die Wellen rauschen - total beruhigend :). Essen außergewöhnlich gut - sehr viel Gemüse, naturbelassen, frisch und lokale Spezialitäten! Personal außergewöhnlich freundlich und nett. Am Strand ist man fast alleine, sodass man einen Spaziergang dort in Ruhe genießen kann. Für uns ein einmaliges Erlebnis und mit Abstand das beste Hotel unserer Rundreise in Sri Lanka.

+ Absolutně nic. − Traveling with children, we were deeply disappointed and honestly shocked by what we found here. Reaching the property is extremely difficult — there are no signs, the road is dirty, winding, and poorly maintained. Upon arrival, it was immediately obvious that this is not a luxury 4-star hotel, despite how it is presented online. The entire property is surrounded by scaffolding, and there is an unpleasant smell throughout the area. The barbecue space and restaurant were in very poor condition and clearly neglected. This is not an environment where you feel comfortable staying with children. When we were shown the room, the situation became unacceptable. The room was dirty and smelled bad. The third bed looked like an improvised solution placed next to a filthy window, completely unsuitable for a child. The bathroom was difficult to locate and poorly arranged. + Wir sind sprachlos !!!!! Von der ersten Minute "Herzlich Willkommen" alleine der Empfang, atemberaubend 100 % Wertschätzung !!!! Herrlich und ich reise sehr viel, aber sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt !!!! Das Essen trationelle Sri Lankische Küche mit soviel Herz und Geschmack zubereitet - alleine dass darf keiner verpassen. Wundervolle Landschaft, direkter Zugang zum Strand. Was für eine Brandung. Allerdings sollte man vorsichtig sein beim Baden im Meer, ca. 200m links ist es etwas sicherer zum Schwimmen! Zum Baden gibt es aber sonst einen Pool, den man gut nutzen kann. Das Personal ist so aufmerksam und freundlich. Allerdings Nalin was the best man forever! Sämtliche Ausflüge hat er organisiert und uns begleitet mit seiner lustigen und herzlichen Art. Ihn haben wir besonders ins Herz geschlossen. Wir werden wohl wieder kommen müssen! Es werden auch Massagen jeglicher Art angeboten. HERRLICH, sollte man unbedingt erleben. Wir fühlten uns nach jeder Massage wie neu geboren. − D…

Der beste Aufenthalt unseres gesamten Urlaubs + Das Personal war außergewöhnlich bemüht, uns einen unvergesslichen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Besonders das Thema Nachhaltigkeit wird hier aktiv gelebt. Unter anderem wurden Ausflüge in den Yala-Nationalpark organisiert, die hervorragend geplant waren. Das Essen war unglaublich gut – es wurden regionale Gerichte gekocht, und wir konnten viele verschiedene sri-lankische Spezialitäten genießen. Vor allem die langen, einsamen Sandstrände waren unglaublich erholsam: kein Autolärm, keine Hektik – einfach Ruhe pur. Es war der beste Aufenthalt unseres gesamten Urlaubs. Man konnte hier wirklich abschalten und entspannen.

Fantastic! + We (my husband and I) spent three days at this wonderful hotel! We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Bodikar, Lakshitar, Hansika and, last but not least, Nallin and all the other staff did everything they could to make our stay unforgettable. We still fondly remember Hansika's magnificent cooking! Many thanks to everyone, we are already looking forward to our next visit to Ravana Garden!
