A perfect property to spend the night before heading to the cruise terminal + The property is located exactly where the photograph shows it is, close to seafront bars and restaurants. The hosts are extremely helpful and welcoming, the room with a balcony was small, but had everything we needed.

I will definitely stay again next time I am in Civitavecchia. + The B&B was extremely comfortable and welcoming. The team went over and above to make sure I had everything I needed , even so far as to store my family's luggage for the day, even though they were not staying at the B&B and it was long before check in. There were fresh fruit/pasties/drinks etc available for the entire stay, which was a really nice touch. The host arranged a taxi for me as I would have been unable to arrange one at the time I needed. The apartment itself was extremely clean and tastefully decorated, with a nice modern shower room, there was also a large balcony overlooking the sea front. I will definitely stay again next time I am in Civitavecchia. − The building access is in a quite dark alley under a building - which does not reflect the comfort and facilities of the apartment itself.

Fabulous stay + We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Sul Mare. We had efficient communications before our stay and airport pickup was nicely arranged. Thank you to Loris and Ambra for all the nice arrangements. Ambra’s succinct but detailed briefing on the place was highly appreciated. Our room was new and spotless clean with a really nice view of the Ferris wheel and the coast. Drinks, snacks, fruits, air-con, new and nice big TV with Netflix, hair dryer, hair curler, fresh clean towels, and even new slippers were available! Loris is the best host ever. Grateful to his helpful handling of our multiple heavy suitcases. Apart from the airport pickup, he also arranged transfer for us to reach our cruise ship via a car with special permit to go inside the terminal area. Everything was smooth and nicely done. Loris has definitely raised the standard of a bed and breakfast stay, in fact the whole experience was even more pleasant than some of my previous hotel experiences. One could to…

The location was perfect, and their recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and local sights couldn’t have been better. 10 out of 10 perfection! + I feel so fortunate that I found this gem! I wanted to have a day to acclimate prior to a 2 week Explora Mediterranean cruise and this was absolutely pitch perfect. My goal was to find an authentic experience and this was everything I hoped for! The people couldn't have been more warm and welcoming! The room, bed, shower all extremely comfortable and the view just filled my heart with joy! They were incredibly hospitable and not only gave me a great suggestion for a spot for dinner but called ahead for me as well. A true find in Civitavecchia + La Casa Sul Mare is an absolute gem! The premises are impeccably clean and cozy. There’s everything you need plus more for a good stay; not just a well equipped room with a very comfortable bed, but also plenty of fruit, pastry, snacks, coffee, etc. included. Ambra and Loris are genuinely welcoming and friendly, they helped us with everything we needed without hesitation. We felt like we were staying over at a friend’s, with a gorgeous sea view!

Short but very sweet + Whilst the entrance to this bijou gem may be deceiving, once we were met with the magnetic smile and welcome from Loris and Ambra and then shown to our very comfortable room with a great balcony and lovely view we felt very welcome! We stayed just one night and felt sorry to leave their warm company. Loris went above and beyond to help us with his local knowledge and our onward journey. We would definitely stay again! Such a Jem + Such a lovely little find and would not hesitate stopping here again. The hosts, Loris, Ambra & Rita could not do enough for you, kindly arranged a taxi pick up from the airport to the hotel, taxi to the cruise ship and taxi from The ship back to airport - all without any issues at all. Only stopped for 1 night pre cruise, room was immaculate, bed extremely comfy and little touches of chocolate left was a lovely touch. Loris kindly recommend restaurants to eat and booked us a table, nothing was too much trouble.

Always Nice + La Casa Sur Mare has become our go to place for pre cruise stays. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the rooms have everything one needs. My only suggestion would be to extend check out time a little beyond the current 10 o’clock limit.

Even though we only stayed one night, I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. + Staff was amazing and the room and view were great. It was great being centrally located in the city. − The stairs in the entry were a little challenging for my 83 year old mother, and the elevator was small and warm on a hot day.

Great breakfast options, USB AND USB-C points Just exceptional for a B & B Fabulous location on waterfront, handy for train station snd port − Only negative, the entrance is in a gallery style mall, owner was waiting for us on arrival otherwise entry to actual b and b would be difficult as theres an entry door requiring a key, and house is on 3rd floor, accessible by lift. First flight to lift is by stairs

A gem of a B&B , fabulous all round ♥️♥️ + We were met at the entrance by Loris who carried our cases up one flight of stairs to lift. 3 flights to B and B but there us a lift. A wonderful warm welcome , full of genuine warmth and concern for providing a good service. Room was outstanding, spotlessly clean, all mod cons , USB/Usb-c points, Netflix, hairdryer, safe. Better than some 5 star major hotels. Breakfast options were amazing, continental style, honesty bar for alcohol, home made cake by Loris's Mum was yummy. Nespresso machine, coffee, tea and juice. Fruit, granola, yoghurt. I have no words to say how wonderful our one night stay was. Bed was super comfy..Room spotless. If early bedder or light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs. The warmth of Ambra and Loris was just fabulous, highly recommeded!! We will be back , loved it♥️

The best! + Would highly recommend this hotel!!! The room, the view the staff all so welcoming and lovely! Went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable and easy as possible!! Pre-cruise Stay + From arrival to departure everything was wonderful. The room was excellent with brilliant sea views. The breakfast was exceptional and the service and friendliness of the staff was unmatched. This was a wonderful place to stay pre-cruise. Thoroughly recommended !
