+ The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the inn is a short walk to the beach! We had an amazing dinner in Odins pub. They have homemade Chinese food that is some of the best we've ever had. Absolutely we will visit again !

Family owned Inn with restaurant and pub in a small, charming town. + Easy to find and upon arrival the friendly owner welcomed us and discussed things to do in the vicinity. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. − It is definitely in need of renovation. Wifi was poor so we used our own data. Tv was small and had limited channels and the bathroom door could not be locked.

Very charming motel in a rustic village + This is a family run business in which they are investing with love and care. The inn and furniture is old, but the paint, wallpapers and carpets are fresh and clean and there Were flowers in the windows. The beds were good. We loved grandma and how she looked after our family. We dined in the restaurant and can totally recommend the pie and the Chinese options! Visiting Sandon Ghost Town was also a great time-capsule experience: a must do! And go swim in the lake! − Nothing, we loved the quiet of New Denver and our stay at Valhalla Inn.

Everything you need plus great food! + What a great place! It is charming, comfortable, clean and has an excellent restaurant. My family and I had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again. The restaurant was a delightful surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed the Chinese food options. The chrysanthemum tea was perfect after a long drive.

Good value and friendly staff. + Friendly staff, good food, clean rooms. − As this is an older building, an easy way to improve curb appearance would be to perform lawncare. Found vegetation was overgrown and has been neglected for some time.
