A friendly welcoming place to stay,just need better beds + Staff were lovely and very helpful,Location is nice shower is nice,very powerful − The beds are quite uncomfortable and the prices in the bar are quite high,the carpet in the rooms are quite dirty

We love the Oyster Fleet and 🙏 we will be back soon. + As usual all the staff from Reception/Housekeeping/bar staff were all polite and work hard − Just needs a little bit of attention in the bedrooms. Light/shower/ toilet seat but overall it’s a lovely hotel x

Okay + Good Location − For £90 a night I would've expected better. Very dated and rooms are stuffy. Tiny tv that can't be moved. Very noisy both outside your room door and outside the room window.

RUNDOWN & OVERPRICED I FELT! + Lovely receptionist on arrival, very friendly! Free parking. − Overpriced at £85 (without breakfast) for solo traveler, £40/£50 would have been fairer! It’s rundown in need of major renovation. Construction workers accommodation really .

A usefull place to stay when visiting Canvey for any reason + We stayed to look after my poorly mum for a few days so the location was really good. The hotel was good and the staff very friendly and helpfull. We did not use any of the other facilities and did not have breakfast. I will be staying again later in the year. − some of the contractors leaving at 4am let the doors bang and sat outside in the carpark chatting and running the vans for quite a while before leaving.

We enjoyed our stay and were made welcome by the very friendly staff + Breakfast very good and the conservatory area was clean and convenient. − The room was very good but could have been better if there had been an easy chair as due to the inclement weather we spent some time in the room. The plastic chairs were not very comfortable after sitting in them for a longtime. Apart from that everything else was very good.
