+ The Duke of Wellington has a head start due to its lovely location. It's a very nice hotel/restaurant and we had a nice spacious bedroom with a very good bathroom. Both were well equipped and supplied. The food was very good and the staff friendly, professional and efficient. Excellent stay!

An incredible place to stay. + Lovely staff, great food breakfast and dinner, beautiful historic buildings in this tiny village and fantastic views from the beer garden of miles of green fields. Very comfortable bed, everything spot on, very clean could not fault this hotel.

+ This is a little gem of a place. Booked in overnight on our way further south. Wish we could have stayed longer. Difficult to pick out one aspect that made it special. Its a beautifully renovated coaching Inn. Our bedroom with en suite was lovely, the staff were delightful and the breakfast and dinner menus were excellent. Dinner obviously popular with non residents, which says a lot. On site parking and glorious scenery.

+ We stopped here whilst visiting family a short walk away over Christmas, the Inn is really nice with lovely decor and well appointed and decorated rooms. The staff were all courteous and friendly, despite having to prepare for their Christmas Day meals etc. The breakfast was excellent.
