“Like stepping back in time, with the kindest welcome and pure comfort.” + ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Hidden Gem I recently stayed at this beautiful farmhouse and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. From the moment I arrived, the welcome I received felt like coming home — warm, genuine, and so comforting. The setting is simple but perfect. Fresh organic greens and eggs, homemade brown bread, and a real sense of care in everything. It’s not about luxury here — it’s about authenticity, and that’s what makes it so special. The farmhouse itself has a lovely old charm. There’s a turf fire that guests help tend to, which creates such a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. It naturally brings people together to sit, chat, and unwind. The animals were an added joy — dogs, cats, goats, and of course hens — all adding to that peaceful, back-to-basics feeling. It really felt like stepping back in time, in the best possible way. Peaceful, hearty, communal living + Hearty welcome by Dessie for an overnight stay, peaceful working farm. Lovely comfy bed, friendly chats with workers and other guests sharing the communal space, early sunny cuppa with the farm dog outside, fresh eggs, bread etc supplied for breakfast, home from home. May not be for everyone but definitely for me!. − N/A

Friendly, caring staff, Clean environment, quiet environment. Beauiful countryside and wildlife. + Lovely from Dessie, Bridget was busy bee-keeping. Have stayed at the farm before. It's 'budget' style, but really clean and very friendly. Would highly recommend! Great price for very good quality. Beautiful surrounding countryside - lots of wildlife. − Nothing!

Perfect place, fabulous traditional lounge/kitchen. It was like being back in my Grandma’s house again. We loved it + We had the best stay here. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly throughout our 3 night stay, particularly Dave and Voytec, and our room was very spacious with a well equipped dining table and condiments and a separate sofa. The shared kitchen has everything you need to make drinks and breakfast. You don’t need to take anything with you. We were welcome to wander round and help ourselves to the bounty of fruit and vegetables that are grown on this organic farm but it also had a public shed at the end of the driveway to purchase their produce. The farm was a great place to explore the surrounding areas and Dave was very helpful in directing us to places. − This is a shared house and long term home to people who live there. I was originally apprehensive about the shared bathroom but it worked well and we were never waiting to go in. We were made very welcome and I th…
