An exceptional stay with wonderful memories – one of the highlights of our trip through Italy + We stayed in an apartment with a small kitchen in the historic part of the property, and it was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the location, the unique atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings, the exceptional service, the delicious breakfasts and excellent restaurant. Everything was spotless, and the whole place had a charming, authentic character. It is truly a special place. − There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Weinig Italië gevoel, beetje wannabe "sophisticated" poging,niet slecht maar ook niet echt goed. + Kamer was net en goed onderhouden, echter geen uitzicht. Ontbijt was goed en verzorgd. Restaurant personeel voornamelijk vriendelijke, maar niet zeer competente jeugd. − Er was géén enkele plaats om buiten in het groen te genieten van rust en uitzicht. Enkel stenen terrasje, gelukkig met parasols, want overdeg 38 graden in de schaduw. Het zwembad lag naar schatting meer dan 10 verdiepingen lager: zeer oncomfortabele klim naar boven. Men kon prijs-kwaliteit veel beter eten in locale restaurants in de omgeving.

Un weekend da favola, che ricorderemo per sempre ❤️ + Un posto semplicemente magnifico, immerso nella splendida atmosfera del borgo di Saragano, in Umbria. Abbiamo trascorso un weekend davvero speciale, di quelli che rimangono nel cuore e che ricorderemo per sempre. Una menzione speciale va a tutto il personale: disponibile, gentile, professionale e attento a ogni dettaglio. È stato davvero bello vedere tanti ragazzi giovani lavorare con entusiasmo, educazione e passione. I due ristoranti sono assolutamente da provare. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e sono stati parte integrante di questa splendida esperienza. La piscina è curatissima, tranquilla e silenziosa, perfetta per rilassarsi e godersi fino in fondo la bellezza e la pace del luogo. Insomma, un weekend da favola, in un posto speciale dove tutto contribuisce a farti staccare davvero dalla quotidianità. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff per averci regalato un’esperienza così bella. Siamo sicuri che ci rivedremo!

En-dessous d'un hôtel de ce standing + Endroit sublime sur la vallée, notamment pour la terrasse du restaurant. Localisation isolée et pleine de charme. − Les installations autour de la piscine n'étaient pas très propres (transats vieux et tachés) ni très jolies (salle de sport mal rangée) qui donnent plus l'impression d'une piscine familiale que d'un grand hôtel. Les climatisations ne sont pas parfaitement fonctionnelles... Salle de bains vraiment petite dans les appartements.

A dreamy space to escape - but pay attention to their charges! + Beautiful property. Lovely location and decent food. − Staff need better training. They’re friendly but not trained well and this ends up creating unnecessary inconveniences for the guest experience. Dinner / breakfast was a bit disorganised - and the cherry on the top was being double charged for our room (the booking was paid for on booking.com, and the hotel charged my card (a higher rate) upon check out. When I messaged them to say this, at first the my denied it and after several messages and contacting both booking.com and the hotel, the hotel admitted their mistake. It’s been over six weeks, and I’m still waiting for the full refund! Didn’t leave me with a good impression at all.

A heavenly place with views to die for + Aethos Saragano is a heavenly place with views to die for. We loved our room (room 4) if you can book this room we highly recommend it. Loved the simple but perfect breakfast every morning and also had two great meals in Ceci. The Aethos team made great recommendations and bookings for us for dinner on the other nights. The pool area was lovely, no problem in getting sunbeds and we loved the honesty bar set up for drinks and snacks (especially the ice creams). All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, thank you Paul for the impromptu tagliatelle demonstration. We have definitely left a bit of our heart in Aethos Saragano and can’t wait to come back one day. − No complimentary drinks or snacks in the room, this was ok for us as we stocked up at the local supermarket on our way in. My only other complaint is that we didn’t see enough of this beautiful area as we couldn’t always pull ourselves from the hotel and were happy jus…

Lovely, but not our favourite Aethos hotel + The location is beautiful, the views and stunning and the hotel is fully part of the village, which is gorgeous − The facilities are a little basic compared to other Aethos hotels, the gym and pool changing facilities are basic and it unfortunate the spa is additional cost so we didn’t use it - this would be inclusive in most hotels of this level
