Lovely, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. + Very clean, comfortable room. Comfortable bed. En suite very small but clean with good toiletries. Good shower although very small and the riser part was missing.

Lovely pub, lovely people and lovely food, the stay had it's issues + The food and the atmosphere were really lovely, a lovely place, the room was nice and clean and the facilities were good. The staff were very friendly and helpful − It was very loud as we could hear the music in our room with the windows shut after 11pm. It was also very light in the room from the street lights. We were also told breakfast was at 8am and when we went down at 8am we were told it wouldn't be ready until 9am, we needed to leave early

mostly good but a little disappointed with noise mostly !! + The room was nice and clean , the provisions in the room were good , the breakfast was lovely , the staff were really nice and helpful and the area was really nice − the room was right at the top of a few flights of stairs( my husband is in his 80's and im in my 70's ), the bathroom was very cramped , music was playing till at least midnight so didn't get a great sleep and we had a drink in the pub before retiring but the music was so loud it was hard to hear each other speaking !

Beautiful English Pub - service and breakfast could be better + Beautiful English pub − Breakfast first morning was continental and not good. Staff member not friendly. Was told there would be hot breakfast at the weekend. Service and breakfast good sat. Went for hot breakfast before flight at 8.15 Sunday and was told hot breakfast not served until 9! Another terrible continental. Sound in top floor rooms carries. Listened to the neighbour snoring all night and kids jumping around from 7am.

Large lively pub with clean rooms avail upstairs. + Nice “gastro-pub” vibe, combined with decent rooms. − The music in the pub downstairs quite loud, not many quiet areas, and the cooked breakfast was avail from 9:00am, but when we arrived at 9:00 will still had to wait half hour before food arrived… the english was very good/plentiful, but perhaps SHOULD actually be avail at 9:00, rather than i waiting half an hour. All staff very friendly and efficient, no complaints with staff.
