Nice room,onsen need refurbishment and cleaning. + Big room and comfortable. The view from the window was very soothing. − During my two-night stay, I was informed that both breakfast and dinner services were fully booked. I found this quite surprising, especially as I was travelling alone and noticed several empty chairs in the restaurant area. As a result, I had to walk around 15–20 minutes each day to find food elsewhere, which was rather inconvenient. Overall, the situation left me with a strange feeling and could have been handled more clearly or flexibly. The private onsen definitely needs a good cleaning and refurbishment. On the day of my departure, I was woke up at 04:00 by a very strong smell of sewerage in the whole room. Couldn’t sleep after that!

Trotz des alters des Hotelzimmers, versprühte dieses viel Charme und Gemütlichkeit. − Es sollten definitiv Reparatur- oder Modernisierungsmaßnahmen im Hotelzimmer getroffen werden. Nach all den Jahren merkt man den Verschleiß (elektronische Stecker, Badeausstattung, etc.)

Wonderful onsen stay with delicious meals + Each suite room has its own private onsen but we also enjoyed the public onsen with dry sauna cold bath and milk sulfer outdoor bath. The kaiseki dinner was excellent along with the Japanese breakfast. We also enjoyed free drinks at the lounge and included in the room. − For this level of accommodation, there should be a smart TV in the rooms to enjoy streaming services. Having only basic Japanese TV availability was a disappointment, when it's available in many budget accommodations today.

Amazing hotel, service and nature + The stay was really special. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of personality, it is surrounded by a amazing nature and have both very nice private and shared areas like the onsens. The private dinner and breakfast is a great experience and the service was flawless. Highly recommended.
