Great place to stay + Fantastic location Extremely helpful and friendly staff − The bathrooms and the kitchen are a bit dated and other guests had not tidied up well.

Lovely spot. + Great location. Otherwise as you would expect for a hostel. − Booked an ocean view room with private bathroom that didnt have an ocean view. Beware! Luckily hostel was quiet and we were moved to an ocean view room with shared bathroom. YHA needs to change description of this sole room.

Would go back again + It was great little beach house It was close to everything. It was clean and tidy and very lovely stuff The girls had a great time We where so close to the beach. The management was excellent. Would definitely go back and stay again.

Beautiful Retreat by the Ocean + The team at YHA Port Elliot are absolutely brilliant. Shawn and Chelsea are genuinely two of the most incredible human beings you could ever meet. Individually they are amazing people, but together they are absolute dynamite in running this establishment. Knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and personable - the two of them both genuinely care about every person who walks through those doors, always going above and beyond to make your stay an absolutely enjoyable one (making it feel like a home away from home!) I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them, or Port Elliot YHA, to any individual / couple / family or organisation looking to take their team somewhere to stay. Stunning location on the water, beautiful historic building, fantastic price, very clean and well kept amenities and incredibly comfortable beds. Highly recommend ! − N/A

Excellent in every aspect + This place exceeded expectations massively. Brilliant location, ample parking, great places to explore closeby including cafes, famous bakery, railway station and more. The walking path beside the beach is brilliant for walks. The ground in front useful for children and more than all warm, hospitable staff. Shawn in particular was excellent as the host at the front desk. Brilliant in every way. Easily our choice if we are to visit again

Perfect. + Friendly, loved the fact that it was an former guesthouse for people from Adelaide. Such a nice vibe.we got a real nice room at the front with beautiful sunrise in the morning. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen. Friendly small town

Brilliant wildlife extravaganza from the cliffs whales , dolphins and seal . Walked miles every day . Loved it + Superb old building with modern safety updates such as door entry and fire doors . Location stunning . Plenty of little places to meet people inside with kitchen , tv room , main sitting room , garden room and garden plus balconies . − I liked it all
