The front Desk Receptionist was unprofessional and rude − On the night of 8.February, the female receptionist on duty treated guests with extreme impatience and unfriendliness. She was impatient and didn’t seem to care about providing good customer service, especially towards guests who are not good at English. When checking in, I first said that I had reserved a bed, but I didn’t immediately say “check in.” She then spoke a long paragraph of English very fast. Because my English listening ability is not good, I didn’t understand and said “Sorry?”. She then spoke another long paragraph again. Later she said: “So you want to check in?” My God. I arrived here at 11:00 PM with a backpack. If I wasn’t checking in, what else could I possibly be here for? Did I travel a long distance just to come to your hostel to cancel my booking in person?
