An aged hotel in a good location for hiking + Location was excellent for those into hiking. Staff tried their best with English language and were pleasant. − The rooms are quite dated and while spacious my room was rather empty seeming.

Spa & location make this worthwhile + the spa and location makes this hotel worth it! Spa was excellent, so big and luxurious, and the location is beautiful − the room was not particularly clean, the lighting was horrible, the facilities and room were very dated

+ Clean − The communication was very hard even with google translate. The restaurant closes very early ended up buying food from the convenience store. Very hard to get if you don't have your own car. No explanation regarding the etiquette on how to use the hot springs spa facility. It is a separate entitity and hotel gives you access.

+ The hot springs were amazing! The room itself was pretty nice but nothing special. The real amazing part was the carbonated hot springs, which were so relaxing and just a cool experience. We had such an great time and staff were very helpful.
