A stay in a beautiful setting with excellent food and helpful staff, but let down by poor cleanliness and very slow dini + The property is beautiful, with amazing grounds, a lovely swimming area, and a relaxing outdoor seating area. The dining room is stunning and adds to the overall atmosphere. Most of the staff were lovely. Despite the language barrier, the majority of them went out of their way to help and make our stay enjoyable. Julie, in particular, was exceptional and deserves a special mention for her kindness and helpfulness and the lady who let me charge my vape. − The property felt very untidy. While the general grounds were well maintained, it was clear that there wasn't much attention to deep cleaning. There were cobwebs in several places, including inside the wardrobe, around the headboard, in the corners of the room, and around the sofas. There also seemed to be an issue with spiders. Oubollig kasteel dat aan renovatie toe is met een restaurant dat zeker geen ster waard is + Dat het een authentiek kasteel is... maar waar dringend wat opfriswerken nodig zijn... − Waar te beginnen... er is geen laadmogelijkheid voor een electrische wagen, de kamer rook duf, er was een ouderwetse fan ipv airco, het zwembad was niet verwarmd, er dreven meer vliegen en dode beesten in het zwembad dan dat er plek was om te zwemmen, we hebben verschillende keren wijn besteld aan het zwembad die nooit gekomen is, ... en dan denk ik het belangrijkste: het restaurant was absoluut niet Michelin-waardig... we dineren wekelijks in Michelin restaurants en hadden daarom ook deze plek gekozen om een stop in te plannen, maar dat was echt een tegenvaller... het personeel is niet voldoende opgeleid om de hospitality van een sterrenrestaurant te dragen, er was geen winepairing, maar bijna alle wijnen onder 100 euro per fles waren wel uitverkocht, ik heb 2 keer een vuil glas met lippenstift gekregen, e…

A beautiful and welcoming hotel that we return to regularly — a simple, sensibly priced light room-service menu would ma + We have stayed at Château de Courcelles five or six times now and it remains one of our favourite stops on the journey south. We arrived in a torrential downpour and the welcome was exceptional. The gentleman helping us simply couldn’t do enough to get us, our luggage and our two dogs out of the car and into the hotel. Our usual Royal Suite was superb, with plenty of towels and excellent Molton Brown toiletries. The gardens and grounds are magnificent and particularly good when travelling with dogs. Breakfast served in our room was excellent and, throughout our stay, the staff were extremely friendly and professional. − Our one very strong recommendation would be to introduce a separate, lighter room-service menu for guests who, like us, are simply stopping for one night on their journey south. + Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem fantastischen Park. Das Haus verströmt den Hauch von Geschichte. Das Restaurant war hervorragend, der Service sehr gut. Wir sind mit unserem Hund gereist, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Der Eigentümer sagte, Hunde sind Familienmitglieder und sind jederzeit willkommen.
