A bargain , had a lovely couple days but the stairs wore us out + The location was perfect and stunning decor inside − It was surface clean but needed a deep clean and didn’t realise there was so many stairs

Family birthday treat . + Lovely feeling and loads of space . − Building work outside , no one informed us before hand , we had a 90 yr old relative with us and it would have affected our choice .

For a brief overnight stay with pre-prepared food it was great and convenient. + Excellent location. Large spacious rooms. Modern shower rooms. Very comfy beds and lovely bed linens. It would be great for a group who wanted quick access to Bath and didn’t want to cook. − Definitely not properly cleaned. Oven filthy. A couple of beside tables were sticky. Old medicine pill on sofa. Batteries not in remote tv control. No wooden spoon, no water jug, no tea towels, no dishwasher tablets, no cafetière, no coat hangers….. on phoning, staff were quick to respond and tea towels arrived. Huge building works immediately next door but there’s nothing to be done about that til it’s finished.

+ The position is great and the beds are clean and comfortable. − Arriving after a huge hen party and the poor cleaning staff clearly didn’t have time to do everything.

Good location but some very easy and cheap fixes could have made all the differences. Also need to highlight number of s + Location and number of beds − Towels were not on beds and all in the upper bathroom so hard to find initially. Bathroom downstairs did not work as head missing. No cleaning facilities to wash up and basics not there
