+ The staff were very friendly, the breakfast menu/selection was amazing. − The photos of the villa are a little outdated (looked different to what we were expecting from photos on booking.com) There were no overhead fans downstairs in the outdoor area. But after requesting a fan, one was brought to our villa (the staff/manager was very accommodating :)

Amazing- I didn’t want to leave! When can we move in?! 😂 + We adored our stay here, tucked away from the chaos of Seminyak but still so close to absolutely everything. Beautifully appointed villa in tropical Bali style - I can’t speak highly enough and will be back. Better than I’d expected! We opted to have breakfast cooked by the lovely staff and this was also a great decision- was delicious. Thank you for having us! − It’s the same everywhere in Bali … you can’t use loo paper, only the bidet, which took some getting used to, but this pretty standard across Bali and no reflection on Smiling Cactus. 😊

It was a nice stay + The size is good. The house is pretty. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Staffs are nice − The bedroom downstairs should be renovated because the wooden floor and the humid from swimming pool make it smells stuffy. Try using tile flooring or something similar. Also the bathrooms look dark. Maybe consider using lighter colors for the walls. Lastly, there are some spots on the wall that needs to be covered, a tiny detail that I think would make a lot better.

We have stayed in Bali a lot. Various properties and locations. This is among the best. Wonderful staff! + Everything. Oasis. Close to the action but far enough to relax. The staff were incredible - made you feel safe and comfortable. We miss them! All amenities were clean and things like toilet paper, towels, bedding always replaced without question. First time travelling with our son (7months) we felt at home. Thank you − N/a.

Great villa & with friendly staff + Beautiful villa so close to Eat Street bars and restaurants. Great breakfast friendly staff. Having stayed at many different Villas over the years this one is probably the best.Will stay again. − Just maybe a clothes airer to put bathers and towels

Seminyak- smiling cactus villa + The location was great. Close to seminyak center, beach, beach clubs, great restaurants. We liked the style of the villa and the staff were amazing as well. The ladies who came in the morning to prepare the breakfast were so kind and helpful. − The cleaniliness of the villa. The bathrooms were in a bad shape, with a mold smell and the bedrooms ( beds and bed sheets were not clean as there were some stains which made us feel a bit uneasy). The furniture was quite old, the villa does need renovation and perhaps clean sheets and towels. The price was quite high for the quality of the villa but since it's in a central location...it might make sense. And it was a 2 bedroom villa.
