Excellent property for family trip + The place is spacious and warm. 4 bedrooms that suits our need for 5 people. Warm light in bathroom is really good feature in winter − The TV is too small for the living room

+ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovingly restored historic home. The house was warm, comfortable, and located in a quiet neighbourhood, perfect for our stay. Everyone slept exceptionally well. We would be very happy to stay here again.

It's a lovely place to stay, a few light globes needed replacing the tv is basic needs upgrading. + The property is in a lovely spot if you don't want to stay in the city. Not much around the area. The hotel does not allow children in the restaurant, and the restaurant I'm not even sure was open as once checked in (self checkin) we had no contact from anyone and it all looked closed. − Would have been nice to have a welcome note and some snacks in the fridge as everything is so far away. A lot of homes we stayed in / resorts on our trip had milk, eggs, bacon and some bread in fridges and at this price point I think this would have been a nice thing to do.

Beautiful, comfortable and well equipped accomodation, with plenty of rooms and living space. + It is a beautiful quaint cottage with plenty of rooms and space. A full kitchen, dining and living areas, 2 bathrooms and laundry with washer and dryer. − When we arrive at the accomodation late afternoon, it hadn't been serviced/cleaned. The 'after hours' phone number didn't answer. So, we washed the sheets and towels in the washer and dryer ourselves. However, with texts to the manager, they were very apologetic and did what they could to rectify the situation, and we were given a refund.

+ Murphett's cottage was so clean, tidy and comfortable. We arrived early evening and the lamps had been left on for us which was so inviting and the place smelt amazing. The beds were super comfy and we were able to do our washing before our flight home. − Only a minor thing - would've loved a better tea. Otherwise everything was spot on.

Aboslutley Gorgeous. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again! + It was so warm and welcoming. It was beautiful inside and out. There was plenty of room and the bathroom was exceptional. The kitchen was well stocked with almost everything needed (we couldn't find a chopping board). − One of the dining chairs needs replacement or repair. My adult son (really hurt himself because it is the wood is damaged and lifting, and it tore his pants, and caught his skin. We also had no gas when we arrived. This was quite easily fixed by changing over to the secondary gas bottle, however it was very cold and dark when we realised there was no gas and would have been great if this was checked before we had arrived.
