Perfect little getaway + Our stay at Gibbston Valley Lodge was exceptional. Our lodge was incredibly comfortable, clean, and perfect for a romantic getaway. We did the full wine and cave tour, which was very impressive and like something I have never seen before. The restaurant delivered delicious food with a detail to every dish. Lastly, each and every staff member were very kind and welcoming. Thank you to you all- we will definitely be back!

Beautiful location and accommodation, very conveniently located between Queenstown and Cromwell. + Gibbston Valley is a beautiful location and the spacious, well-appointed villas are positioned to capture views and sunshine. The lodge itself has a great aesthetic vibe and staff are friendly and professional. − We had high expectations of the lodge restaurant and while many dishes were delicious, the food quality was not consistent - good flavours but some dishes not well executed.

Should have offered more for price point. + Was clean and easy. − Robes, had marks on them, stairs right at entrance of lodge made transporting bags up hard. For the price point felt like it could have been better.

A wonderful hotel with beautiful facilities set amongst vineyards. The neighbouring cheese and wine cellar door were als + A stunning property in a spectacular setting.

We had an amazing stay overall, central, modern and clean. + Location and facilities are excellent. Staff fantastic. Wine tasting was fun, as was the theatre, great option. Sitting around the fire is very nice. − Beds a little firm, restaurant food variety limited.

+ The mini bar selection (although not included) and free wine tasting − No attention to detail in the rooms, like complimentary waters or a welcome note - it was a noted that the stay was for my 40th bday and no extra details to make it special. For the price they could have done more

Gibbston Valley Lodge is a gem - we loved it. + The breakfast was great and the meals my wife and I had at dinner were fabulous. Every member of their team was terrific. We wanted to find something different, out of Queenstown but with good access to the snow fields and Arrowtown, and Gibbston Valley Lodge was perfect.
